Students will form a team, develop a preliminary idea and create prototype. You can submit an abstract, paper or PowerPoint presentation that will tell the story of your product. The following elements of the team idea should be included in your final PowerPoint presentation.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>How does it work?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The BIG Idea<\/li>\n<li>Mission statement<\/li>\n<li>Concept \u2013 The CO-Driver<\/li>\n<li>Patent review<\/li>\n<li>Market Survey<\/li>\n<li>Design<\/li>\n<li>Prototype \u2013 CAD<\/li>\n<li>Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Finance<\/li>\n<li>Marketing<\/li>\n<li>Innovation<\/li>\n<li>Questions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>An example of the IEOM Global Design Competition can be found here<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ieomsociety.org\/sampledesign.pdf\">CLICK HERE<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Get your team or teams registered for the competition<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Submit your preliminary \u201cBig Idea\u201d as the initial submission for your team along via paper, abstract, PPT or poster.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Criteria<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Each team should have 3-4 members<\/li>\n<li>Must present the original idea<\/li>\n<li>Students must be the first author.
