High school students can submit individual and\/or team research projects in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or similar areas. Each submission can provide a summary of the STEM project. All projects must be presented at the International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management at Marriott Hotel in Bogota, Colombia\u00a0on October 25-26, 2017. The projects will be judged based on the technical content and presentation. Winners will receive award certificates. The winning awards will be given at the 2017 IEOM\u00a0Bogota conference award banquet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The submitter must be middle school student, high school student or recent graduate.<\/li>\n<li>The projects should be related on STEM or similar fields.<\/li>\n<li>Individual or team projects can be submitted.<\/li>\n<li>One or more teachers may appear as co-authors of a submission, but the student must be the \u2018first author\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>STEM project must be presented in ORAL or POSTER\u00a0at the 2017 IEOM Bogota Conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Important Dates<\/strong><br \/>\nDeadline for submission: <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">August 31, 2017<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Submission Guidelines<\/strong><br \/>\nOne page summary of the STEM project needs to project with IEOM abstract format.
