IEOM Student Simulation Competition is an international simulation competition hosted by IEOM Society International. It provides an opportunity for students to show their discrete-event simulation skills. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center\" class=\"has-text-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>Registration is open. complete the form at the end of this page<\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Period Receiving Registrations for Phase 1: January 1st to<br \/>\nJanuary 31st, 2020 (Case Study will be sent to the participants when they<br \/>\nregister) <\/p>\n<p>Results of Phase 1 Communicated to Participants: by 7th<br \/>\nFebruary <\/p>\n<p>Phase 2: Case study will be handed over to participants on<br \/>\nMarch 10, 2020 at the IEOM Dubai Conference venue and participants will solve<br \/>\nit and deliver a power point to the committee<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">G<strong>eneral Rules and Guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submissions could be as individuals, or a team of 2-3 members. <\/li>\n<li>All Participants should be undergraduate, postgraduate or recent graduate students.<\/li>\n<li>Finalist teams are invited to have a live competition in the IEOM Dubai Conference.<\/li>\n<li>The case studies must be solved completely by the team members.<\/li>\n<li>Submission must be within the deadlines and no late submissions will be accepted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\"><strong>Phase 1 &#8211; ONLINE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An online phase.<\/li>\n<li>Consists of a technical case study that needs a discrete-event simulation analysis.<\/li>\n<li>The data and the description of the process will be sent to the team once the registration is completed.<\/li>\n<li>It is free for participants to join the first phase virtual competition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\"><strong>Phase 2 &#8211; Dubai<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A live phase, at IEOM Conference in Dubai on March 10, 2020.<\/li>\n<li>Consists of a technical case that needs to be simulated. <\/li>\n<li>The data and the description of the process will be provide to the teams at conference.<\/li>\n<li>Final phase teams must register and pay the registration fee and attend the conference for the final case study solution and presentation.<\/li>\n<li>Final phase teams must register and pay the registration fee and attend the conference for the final case study solution and presentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\"><strong>AWARDS \/ Trophies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1<sup>st<\/sup>, 2<sup>nd<\/sup> and 3<sup>rd<\/sup> place trophies and certificates will be provided.
