Selected papers will be considered for the competition. The paper will be judged based on the technical content. Winners will receive award certificates.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The submitter must me student or recent graduate<\/li>\n<li>Papers can be industry projects as part of a course or co-op\/internship, or research projects done at the academic institution.<\/li>\n<li>Faculty and\/or an industry member may serve as an advisor on a project, but the work should primarily be done by the student(s).<\/li>\n<li>The paper must be written by the student(s) with only minor outside editorial assistance. One or more advisors may appear as co-authors of a paper, but the student must be the \u2018first author\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>The paper must be presented at the 2022\u00a0 Jahor Baru, Malaysia Conference using Zoom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Important Dates:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nDeadline for submission of papers: May 1, 2022.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Paper Guidelines:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nAuthors must follow the IEOM 2022 paper guidelines (under Authors menu) since the winning papers will be published in the conference proceedings.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Submission:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nEach paper must be submitted online:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=qk8AuEN<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>For any question, please contact undergraduate student paper competition committee chairs:<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Judging:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nA group of academics \/ professionals will serve as judge.
