Capstone student design project team can showcase their engineering design project by submitting a summary of the project as an abstract or full paper and present it. It should highlight problem solving, creative thinking, innovation, project planning, and teamwork through a challenging design and build project. Each submission must be presented at the International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations management. The presentation will be judged based on the technical content and poster presentation. Winners will receive award certificates. The winning awards will be given at the 2023 IEOM Australia Conference Awards Ceremony on November 16, 2023.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The submitter must be student or recent graduate and be part of the senior design project team.<\/li>\n<li>A summary of the senior design project must be prepared by the student(s) with only minor outside editorial assistance. One or more advisors may appear as co-authors, but the student must be the \u2018first author\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>The design project must be presented at the IEOM Melbourne Conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Important Dates<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong>Deadline for submission: September<span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>\u00a030, 2023<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Submission Guidelines<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nAuthors must follow the 2023 IEOM paper guidelines. IEOM poster size is\u00a0 40\u2033 x 30\u2033 (40 inches high by 30 inches wide). Students are encourage to bring a poster board. No poster printing facilities at the venue.<\/p>\n<p>Team can submit an abstract\/poster and bring a poster at the conference event.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Submission<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nSubmit an abstract online: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=eB4RoAM\">https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=eB4RoAM<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Judging<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nA group of academics \/ professionals will serve as judges and evaluate the papers and presentations.
