He was a Postdoc at the University of Missouri in Nuclear Engineering. Dr. Rabelo received a dual MS in Systems and Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has worked for the Advanced Technology Group (Goodrich) and Honeywell Laboratories. Dr. Rabelo was a NASA Fellow from 2002 to 2005, and a Project Manager at NASA from 2009 to 2011. He is currently Professor in the Industrial Engineering and Management Systems Department at UCF. He is also the Undergraduate Coordinator. He has written more than 300 articles and a book in Artificial Intelligence. He has been the principal advisor for 39 Master&#8217;s students and 29 PhDs. He received the award for the Best Scientific Article of the Year 2004 from the Society of Automotive Engineers, received the distinction &#8220;ONE NASA&#8221; in 2006. He was the recipient of the Fulbright Distinction in 2008. In November 2008, he received the honor of the Technological University of Panama (UTP) of being the 2008 Distinguished Alumni. In 2011, he was the Henaac Award Winner in Education. In 2013 and 2018, he received the Forest R. McFarland Award from the Society of Automotive Engineering (SAE). Lately, he received the SAE Russell S. Throughout Hailey\u2019s time at Disney, she has had the opportunity to navigate large, complex data sets using industry too\u00ad\u00ad\u00adls to extract and visualize data-driven insights and provide strategic recommendations for stakeholders across The Walt Disney World theme parks. Prior to her career at The Walt Disney Company, Hailey was an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Configuration Analyst at PlanSource, an employee benefits management platform.<\/p>\n<p>Hailey received her bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Analytics with a concentration in Quantitative Economics and Econometrics from Florida Polytechnic University. She is currently working on her master\u2019s degree in Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Her research interests are focused in applied microeconomics, data analytics, and lean six sigma.<\/p>\n<p>Hailey is very active in her community through her involvement in the IEEE-HKN, Phi Theta Kappa, and Psi Beta honor societies. She also serves as a board member on the Florida Polytechnic University Foundation Board of Directors and volunteers at the Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind. Notable projects he has worked on include: Amgen combination products including prefilled syringes and autoinjectors; the Stryker Mako robot for orthopedic\/joint replacement surgeries; various Medtronic programmable neuromodulation systems; the Westinghouse AP1000; and the GE-Hitachi Economic Simplified Boiling Water Reactor (ESBWR). He was even involved in designing graduate level curriculums at the University of South Carolina as an Adjunct Professor. His second career began in 1985 with NCR (National Cash Register). Beginning as a Senior Programmer Analyst, he was promoted to Manager &#8211; Software Development, Product Manager, Manager \u2013 Product Management, Corporate Strategic Planner for Banking and Retail, Director \u2013 Retail Systems Product Integration, Retail Systems Manufacturing, Director of Quality and Customer Satisfaction, and Corporate Coach. During his stint in corporate America, he was involved in the NCR\/AT&amp;T merger, and was responsible, as a Director of Quality, for the cultural transformation and change leadership for the Retail Systems Division Organization in Duluth, Georgia, at the Lean Manufacturing Plant. Leveraging his involvement with Bell Labs Organization Effectiveness Group and Harvard Business School T.E.A.M. Her teaching portfolio is broad, focusing on Enterprise Systems implementation (SAP and Oracle Applications) and derivatives of ERP data collection \u2013 from Business Analytics to Process Mining. Additionally, she has extensive experience in academic curriculum development, is head of her department\u2019s teaching committee and serves as liaison to the graduation projects unit. Her research interests include Process Mining and its practical applications, ERP relates issues and DSS development. Since 2015 Dr. Kedem-Yemini serves as member of JITCAR Editorial Review Board, and since 2019 is a faculty advisor of the Student Chapter of the IEOM Society at Sapir Academic College. Berkeley Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. Her B.Sc. and M.Sc. are in Industrial Engineering and Management, from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Freed&#8217;s industrial experience includes leading process improvement and system development projects in the electronics and semiconductor manufacturing industry, as a consultant and as a senior engineer. She was also the first female electronics technician in the Israeli Air Force.<\/p>\n<p>Her research areas include RFID (radio frequency identification), production planning and scheduling, design of production systems, development of information systems, production costing models, and organization design for effectiveness.\u00a0She has published journal articles, a book chapter, and case studies on these topics.<\/p>\n<p>She teaches courses in the areas of Operations Research, Information Systems Design, Simulation, Process Analysis and Improvement, and Electronics Manufacturing.\u00a0She has been the advisor of numerous senior projects and master&#8217;s theses. Many of these projects were funded by industrial partners. Dr. Paz was the Director in the Peruvian accreditation board, which has allowed him to learn about the Peruvian university system.
