The paper will be judged based on the technical content and presentation. Winners will receive award certificates. The winning awards will be given at the IEOM Orlando 2025 Conference award event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competition Chair:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Abdulaziz Alhamadani\u00a0\u2013 Florida Polytechnic University<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Case study must be related to real-life applications<\/li>\n<li>Practitioners or academicians can join the competition<\/li>\n<li>Papers can be industry projects as part of a course or co-op\/internship, or research projects done at the academic institution.<\/li>\n<li>The paper must be presented at the IEOM Orlando Conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>IEOM Competition Rubrics<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall content: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Data analysis and results: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Presentation skills: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the topic \/ confident: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Answering questions: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Paper Guidelines:<\/strong><br \/>\nAuthors must follow the IEOM paper guidelines (under Authors menu) since the winning papers will be published in the conference proceedings and indexed at IEOM Index &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/index.ieomsociety.org\/\">https:\/\/index.ieomsociety.org\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Submission:<\/strong><br \/>\nEach paper must be submitted online.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Judging:<\/strong><br \/>\nA group of academics \/ professionals will serve as judge.
