Selected papers will be considered for the competition and must be presented at the 2018 IEOM Paris Conference. The paper will be judged based on the technical content and presentation. Winners will receive award certificate. The winning awards will be given at the conference award event.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The submitter must be student or recent graduate<\/li>\n<li>Papers can be industry projects as part of a course or co-op\/internship, or research projects done at the academic institution.<\/li>\n<li>Faculty and\/or an industry member may serve as an advisor on a project, but the work should primarily be done by the student(s).<\/li>\n<li>The paper must be written by the student(s) with only minor outside editorial assistance. One or more advisors may appear as co-authors of a paper, but the student must be the \u2018first author\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>The paper must be presented at the conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Important Dates<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nPaper submission deadline: 15 February 2018 (Extended)<br \/>\nNotification of acceptance: 15 March 2018<br \/>\nCamera-ready paper submission deadline: 15 April 2018<br \/>\nRegistration deadline: 1 May 2018<br \/>\nConference: 26-27 July 2018<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Paper Guidelines:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nAuthors must follow the IEOM 2018 Paris paper guidelines (under Authors menu) since the winning papers will be published in the conference proceedings.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Submission:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nEach paper must be submitted online: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=JxqPV50\">https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=JxqPV50<\/a><\/p>\n<p>For any question, please contact undergraduate student paper competition committee chair: Dr. Abbas Mahmoudabadi (mahmoudabadi@mehrastan.ac.ir)<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Judging:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nA group of academics \/ professionals will serve as judge.
