Selected papers will be considered for the competition and must be presented at the 2018 IEOM Paris\u00a0 Conference . The paper will be judged based on the technical content and presentation. Winners will receive award certificate. The winning awards will be given at the IEOM Paris Conference award banquet.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The submitter must be masters or doctoral student<\/li>\n<li>Papers can be industry projects as part of a course or co-op\/internship, or research projects done at the academic institution.<\/li>\n<li>Faculty and\/or an industry member may serve as an advisor on a project, but the work should primarily be done by the student(s).<\/li>\n<li>The paper must be written by the student(s) with only minor outside editorial assistance. One or more advisors may appear as co-authors of a paper, but the student must be the \u2018first author\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>The paper must be presented at the IEOM Paris Conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Important Dates<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nPaper submission deadline: 15 February 2018 (Extended)<br \/>\nNotification of acceptance: 15 March 2018<br \/>\nCamera-ready paper submission deadline: 15 April 2018<br \/>\nRegistration deadline: 1 May 2018<br \/>\nConference: 26-27 July 2018<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Paper Guidelines<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nAuthors must follow the 2018 IEOM Paris Conference paper guidelines. Winning papers will be published in the conference proceedings and indexed by Scopus.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Submission<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nEach paper must be submitted\u00a0 online: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=JxqPV50\">https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=JxqPV50<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Judging<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nA group of academics \/ professionals will serve as judges and evaluate the papers and presentations.
