Silvia Colabianchi is a researcher in Industrial and Management Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome. Her PhD project focused on industrial cybersecurity. The project underlines humans\u2019 role in cybersecurity socio-technical systems, investigating in which part humans are a threat or an opportunity for industrial cybersecurity. Her recent projects involved computer vision techniques, conversational agents, and virtual reality to improve industrial production in the smart factory context. In 2022, she has worked on a vision-based automated quality inspection tool to detect defects on plastic. She is currently working on incorporating enabling technologies for Industry 4.0 from a positive human-machine collaboration perspective. Specifically she is implementing a conversation agent\u00a0 for operational and safety training in the smart factory.<\/p>\n

Susana Duarte holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering. Presently she is an Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering at School of Science and Technology of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal. She lectures several courses on topics related to industrial engineering including, production management, industrial management and strategy, industrial engineering, logistics, decision models, among others. She is a research member of UNIDEMI Research Center where develops their investigation in the area of lean manufacturing, green management, lean-green supply chain, and performance measurement systems. She has published scientific papers in several international refereed journals and international conference proceedings. She was awarded Excellence Award from Emerald Group Publishing, a Teaching Excellence Award from IEOM society and three awards from International Conferences. She is a member of the board of the Portuguese Institute of Industrial Engineering.<\/p>\n

Valentina Bianchi
<\/strong>DSP Manager in Amazon Logistic<\/span><\/h3>\n

Dr. Valentina Bianchi is DSP Manager in Amazon Logistic, in her role she manages and coordinate delivery service providers who collaborate with Amazon Logistic. She studied at the Sapienza University in Rome and graduated in Management Engineering with Industrial Production Management option. Her interest is on integrated logistic process and production development, Resilience Engineering and his application in healthcare environment. After a short period in a Technology consultant company, she joined Johnson and Johnson Medical as Supply Chain Analyst and Demand Planner. In this role she has the opportunity to deepen supply chain and logistic processes and apply inventory management principles. She managed many optimization projects as implementation of lean return procedure to the supplier and creation of integrated process for physical scrap of unsuitable goods.<\/p>\n

Mar\u00eda Valdez de la Rosa is a professor of Engineering Department at School of Engineering and Technologies at University of Monterrey (UDEM). She has been in the academic field for more than 15 years, as a Director of Engineering Management and Industrial Engineering Bachelor Academic Programs and as a teacher at UDEM, in the state of Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Systems and master\u2019s in quality management at University of Monterrey, Mexico, and Ph. D. in Administration Sciences from the Autonomous University of the State of Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She has 18 years of experience in the Quality field and 13 years as a higher education teacher. She has participated as consultant for the manufacturing and services in the quality field and participated as ASQ and IISE member.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Patrick Dallasega is an Assistant Professor of Factory Planning and Project Management at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Free University of Bolzano (Italy). He studied at the Free University of Bolzano (Italy), at the Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy) and got his PhD at the University of Stuttgart (Germany). From 2005 until 2010, he worked in the fields of plant and factory planning in a local food processing industry. Later, from 2012 until 2015, he was employed as Research Associate at Fraunhofer Italia Research where he managed and executed several research projects for private and public customers. Since 2016, he has been employed as Assistant Professor at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. His main research interests are in, supply chain management, Industry 4.0, lean construction, lean manufacturing and production planning and control in MTO and ETO enterprises.<\/p>\n

Fazel Ansari is Head of Research Group \u201cSmart and Knowledge-Based Maintenance\u201d at the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien) since 2018. He also leads Fraunhofer Austria\u2019s Group of \u201cDigitalization and Competence Management\u201d, since 2021. Fazel obtained his Habilitation degree in Industrial Engineering at the TU Wien and his summa cum laude PhD in computer science from the University of Siegen, in the specialization of knowledge-based systems and knowledge management. He holds a M.Sc. degree in Mechatronics from Univeristy of Siegen and B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Tehran. Fazel is an interdisciplinary researcher conducting fundamental- and applied-oriented research at the intersection of AI, industrial engineering and production management. His research focuses specifically on Human-centred Cyber Physical Production Systems, operations and maintenance management, knowledge management 4.0 and Industrial AI. Fazel is engaged in several international scientific associations, namely as an IEEE Senior Member, member of IFAC\u2019s Technical Committee 5.2 \u201cManagement and Control in Manufacturing and Logistics\u201d, and member of Scientific Committee and Head of Working Group \u201cWork-Based Learning\u201d at the International Association of Learning Factories (IALF).<\/p>\n

Corina Pacher is an Education Project Manager at the Life Long Learning Department at Graz University of Technology. She is mainly responsible for the project management of European projects, support in the development and expansion of CVET offers, and development of didactic concepts. She studied pedagogical and educational science at the University of Klagenfurt (Austria) with a specialization on social and inclusive education (master\u2019s degree) and on professional education (master\u2019s degree). Currently, Ms. Pacher is conducting her PhD in the field of profiling competence profiles for European Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) curricula. During and after her studies, she gained work experience, e.g., as Head of educational programs and in different social public service enterprises as a social education worker. Currently, she is mainly focusing on raising the awareness for engineering education 4.0 by connecting research, education, and society.<\/p>\n

Manuel Woschank received a Ph.D. in Management Sciences with summa cum laude from the University of Latvia (Latvia) and the Habilitation in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Montanuniversitaet Leoben (Austria). He is currently Deputy Head of the Chair of Industrial Logistics at the Montanuniversitaet Leoben and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Faculty of Business, Management, and Economics at the University of Latvia. He was a visiting scholar at the Technical University of Kosice and the Chiang Mai University. His research interests include the areas of production planning and control, logistics 4.0 concepts and technologies, behavioral decision making, and engineering education.<\/p>\n
