Selected papers will be considered for the competition and must be presented at the 2021 IEOM Conference at Hilton Hotel in Singapore. The paper will be judged based on the technical content and presentation on March 9, 2021. Winners will receive award certificates. The winning awards will be given at the 2021 IEOM conference awards ceremony on March 11, 2021.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The submitter must me student or recent graduate<\/li>\n<li>Papers can be industry projects as part of a course or co-op\/internship, or research projects done at the academic institution.<\/li>\n<li>Faculty and\/or an industry member may serve as an advisor on a project, but the work should primarily be done by the student(s).<\/li>\n<li>The paper must be written by the student(s) with only minor outside editorial assistance. One or more advisors may appear as co-authors of a paper, but the student must be the \u2018first author\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>The paper must be presented at the IEOM Singapore Conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Important Dates:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nDeadline for submission of papers: <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>January 30, 2021<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Paper Guidelines:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nAuthors must follow the IEOM 2021 paper guidelines (under Authors menu) since the winning papers will be published in the conference proceedings.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Submission:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nEach paper must be submitted online: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=b2S8sdu\">https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=b2S8sdu<\/a><\/p>\n<p>For any question, please contact undergraduate student paper competition committee chairs: Dr. Abbas Mahmoudabadi (<a href=\"mailto:mahmoudabadi@mehrastan.ac.ir\">mahmoudabadi@mehrastan.ac.ir<\/a>)<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Judging:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nA group of academics \/ professionals will serve as judge.
