This event will take place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada during October 23-25, 2019 at the Holiday Inn Toronto International Airport. The conference organizer is the Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IE0M) Society International. The theme of the conference is Industrial Engineering and Operations Management for Industry 4.0. Students will have an opportunity to learn from industry practitioners and academia. Participants will also learn from conference technical and keynote sessions related to Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), big data, iCloud, cybersecurity and related fields. Most important to students is the opportunity to gain a worldwide perspective from representatives from over 50 countries. The NSF award will also enable students to improve their knowledge of disruptive technologies of Industry 4.0. Conference participation will help students become engineers and researchers who will lead the United States into the next generation. As a result, they will be prepared to meet the challenges of smart disruptive technology.<\/p>\n
The NSF award supports conference registration, shared lodging and a portion of the travel expenses for graduate and undergraduate full-time students who are attending a United States college or university. Each student may receive an award up to $800. Students from historically underrepresented communities including African Americans, Native Americans and Hispanics will receive preference.<\/p>\n
Lawrence Technological University will be administrating the award process.
