There are various levels of readiness of engineering graduates from various parts of the world. One of the main themes is how to reduce the readiness gap of business management graduates around the world. The special focus is given to operations management, management science, supply chain management, business analytics, and logistics management. Are the graduates ready to take on the challenges of the current global economy? IEOM Zambia Conference will have a dedicated session for the Global Business Management Education where distinguished speakers will discuss the readiness of business management graduates for workforce around the world. He is currently serving as an Associate Professor at Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Morocco.<\/p>\n<p>Jabir Arif has a significant industrial and consulting experience in Supply Chain Management &amp; Logistics. He began his career as a Production Planner within a multinational company operating in the automotive wiring harness. Afterward, he was appointed Senior Engineer at the Ministry of Public Services and Modernization of Administration where he was in charge of the national major projects. Therefore, he is familiar with the workplace social, ethical, and organizational issues as well as various market dynamics, which all prove assets in his passionate and interactive teaching through the use of contemporary real-world examples.\u00a0Jabir Arif&#8217;s main research area is Supply Chain Management &amp; Logistics, Outsourcing of Logistic Activities, Risk Assessment, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, and Industrial engineering. This was between 2018 &#8211; 2019, before returning to academia, and work in various industrial projects within the Research Chair in Intelligent Manufacturing, Skills Development and Business Incubation where he led the section in aircraft components localisation project. He holds a National Diploma, Baccalaureus Technologiae (B-Tech) and a Masters of Engineering (MEng) which he obtained Cumlaud, all in Industrial Engineering. In his MEng dissertation, entitled Development of a Framework for Implementation of a Wisdom Manufacturing System for Transport Sector, he deployed a machine learning concept used for Smart City management to the emerging manufacturing system. Mr. Zeferino is a candidate associate member of Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), the Southern Africa Institute for Industrial Engineering (SAIIE), the Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM) society where he served as the communication director for the TUT student chapter, as well as the International Network for Appropriate Technology (INAT). He has presented in various local and international events both in English and Portuguese such as the first African IEOM international conference 2018, Tropics Business Summit 2019 and 2020, Manufacturing indaba 2018, Klevaclick Innovation Summit 2021 as well as the Global Conference in Sustainable Manufacturing (GCSM) 2022. Furthermore, he has featured in major media platforms in Angola, such as the ANGOP TV, Radio Nacional de Angola and Televis\u00e3o P\u00fablica de Angola to advise on matters related to waste management, pandemic management, science and technology.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Zeferino has received 10 awards with the most recent ones being amongst master\u2019s category top publisher at the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment (FEBE) at Tshwane University of Technology 2020\/2021 and amongst three best ICT technologies by the Gauteng Accelerator Program (GAP) 2020, of which he won representing REDEMA Engineering Pty Ltd. He has authored 4 scientific manuscripts focusing on strategic selection using decision techniques and a manuscript focused on systems modeling and simulation, of which 2 are published in international accredited journals. He has served in the organizing committee of 2 international conferences, namely the 30th College International pour la Recherche en Productique (CIRP) Design Conference 2020 and the 9th International Conference on Appropriate Technology (ICAT) 2020. He is currently facilitating the discussions for a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between Universidade Cat\u00f3lica de Angola (UCAN) in Angola and Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) in South Africa. Mr. Zeferino\u2019s interests are in decision analysis, data science, machine learning, intelligent, wisdom and sustainable manufacturing, systems modelling and simulation for optimisation, project management as well as policy development.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Zeferino sees himself as a solution driven, a strong negotiator and entrepreneur. He is the founder of EZ Engineering Group (Pty) Ltd and serves as a director at REDEMA Engineering Pty Ltd. Amongst his various community social initiatives, he is a co-founder and champion of the support initiative that groups young people to help with tutorship and other necessary support, a shelter of young girls who have suffered various types of abuse in Pretoria CBD. His dissertation topic was: Closed-loop supply chain concepts and end-of-life strategies in the automotive industry. She is an active researcher in the field of total quality management and operations management. She is a qualified Lead Auditor, proficient in ISO standards and certification. She is chairperson and director of the Society for Operations Management in Africa (SOMA), a professional member of the South African Society for Quality (SASQ). He is a board secretary at IBASA YC (Institute of Business Advisors Southern Africa under the Youth Chapter); he is a Director at Translife; he is a Primary Faculty Advisor for Enactus University of Johannesburg; he is a Peer Mentorship Coordinator for first-year students from the Department of Business Management; he is one of the two staff members who formed the Business Clinic at the University of Johannesburg; he is the editor of the departmental newsletter (Department of Business Management, University of Johannesburg); he is a house warden\/house parent; and he is a lab manager for Digital Story Telling, a Common Good First project, which is an initiative by the European Union and Erasmus+. This project comprises universities from Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Scotland, Spain and South Africa as well as the global network, the Social Innovation Exchange. He formerly served as the Director of Human Resources and a founding member of Africa Cooperatives Institute of South Africa. He runs a business consulting company and he is also a wellness coach.<\/p>\n<p>His Master\u2019s in Operations Management was on Quality Management on Furniture Manufacturing SMEs (Small Medium Enterprises). His interest in research is multidisciplinary. He focuses on knowledge management in SMMEs, service and product quality and the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Artificial Intelligence and Big Data) for SMEs. He published numerous articles at international conferences, which are indexed by Scopus. On numerous accounts, he served as a Session Chair at international conferences; he reviews conference papers to ensure the quality of work published by international conferences and he served as a Track Chair. With his research, he was classified as a distinguished speaker in one of the international conferences held at Bangkok, Thailand. Through academic work, he travelled several countries abroad, such as Detroit and Washington in the United States of America, and Rotherham, Bristol and Oxford in the United Kingdom. He visited Botswana and Zambia through the Africa-by-Bus project, which is an initiative by the University of Johannesburg.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Lawrance Seseni is a Golden Key member, an international society that honours outstanding academic achievement.
