High school students can submit individual and\/or team research projects in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or similar areas. Each submission can provide a summary of the STEM project. All projects must be presented at the 2026 IEOM 3rd World Congress, Irvine, California, USA. The projects will be judged based on the technical content and presentation. Winners will receive award certificates. The winning awards will be given at the conference.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The submitter must be a middle school student, a high school student, or a recent graduate.<\/li>\n<li>The projects should be related to STEM or similar fields.<\/li>\n<li>Individual or team projects can be submitted.<\/li>\n<li>One or more teachers may appear as co-authors of a submission, but the student must be the \u2018first author\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>The project must be presented at the conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>IEOM Competition Rubrics<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall content: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Data analysis and results: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Presentation skills: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the topic \/ confident: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Answering questions: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Submission Guidelines<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nOne page summary of the STEM project needs to be in the IEOM abstract format. Paper can be submitted as well. Full papers are encouraged.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Presentation Model<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nEach STEM project can be presented onsite or online via ZOOM.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Judging<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong>A group of academics\/professionals will serve as judges.
