Selected papers will be considered for the competition and must be presented at the conference or via zoom at 2025 IEOM Melbourne Conference. The paper will be judged based on the technical content and presentation. Winners will receive award certificates.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submissions must be related to real-life applications<\/li>\n<li>Practitioners or academicians can join the competition<\/li>\n<li>Papers can be industry projects as part of a course or co-op\/internship, or research projects done at the academic institution.<\/li>\n<li>The paper must be presented at the conference at 2025 IEOM Melbourne Conference (onsite or virtual).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>IEOM Competition Rubrics<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall content: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Data analysis and results: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Presentation skills: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the topic \/ confident: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Answering questions: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Paper Guidelines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Authors must follow the IEOM paper guidelines (under Authors menu) since the winning papers will be published in the conference proceedings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Submission:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Each paper must be submitted online: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=7k1Ao9E\">https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=7k1Ao9E<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Judging:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A group of academics \/ professionals will serve as judge.
