Selected papers will be considered for the competition and must be presented virtually at the 2026 IEOM Milwaukee Conference. The paper will be judged based on the technical content and presentation. Winners will receive award certificate. The winning awards will be given at the 2026 IEOM Milwaukee Conference.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The submitter must be Graduate\/Postgraduate (Masters or Doctoral) student<\/li>\n<li>Papers can be industry projects as part of a course or co-op\/internship, or research projects done at the academic institution.<\/li>\n<li>Faculty and\/or an industry member may serve as an advisor on a project, but the work should primarily be done by the student(s).<\/li>\n<li>The paper must be written by the student(s) with only minor outside editorial assistance. One or more advisors may appear as co-authors of a paper, but the student must be the \u2018first author\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>The paper must be presented virtually at the 2026 IEOM Milwaukee Conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>IEOM Competition Rubrics<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall content: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Data analysis and results: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Presentation skills: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the topic \/ confident: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Answering questions: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Important Dates<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nDeadline for submission of papers: May 1, 2026.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Paper Guidelines<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nAuthors must follow the 2026 IEOM Milwaukee Conference paper guidelines. Winning papers will be published in the conference proceedings and indexed by Scopus.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Submission<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nEach paper must be submitted\u00a0 online: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=1gz1a0I\">https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=1gz1a0I<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Judging<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nA group of academics \/ professionals will serve as judges and evaluate the papers and presentations. Scoring rubrics will be used for both parts of the judging.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Winners<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive award certificates.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Publication and Indexing \u2013 Proceedings<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Papers will be published in the proceedings with DOI at IEOM Index.
