Students must enroll in the masters\u2019 program during the current academic year. These awards are presented at the 2026 Milwaukee Conference.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The submitter must enroll in a master\u2019s program or be a recent graduate<\/li>\n<li>A synopsis of the thesis should be submitted<\/li>\n<li>Master\u2019s research must be presented at the IEOM 2026 Milwaukee Conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>IEOM Competition Rubrics<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall content: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Data analysis and results: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Presentation skills: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the topic \/ confident: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Answering questions: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Important Dates<\/strong><br \/>\nDeadline for submission of abstract \/ paper \/synopsis: May 1, 2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Submission<\/strong><br \/>\nSubmit a synopsis of your thesis online and present at the conference event: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=1gz1a0I\">https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=1gz1a0I<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Judging<\/strong><br \/>\nA group of academics \/ professionals will serve as judges and evaluate the papers and presentations. Scoring rubrics will be used for both parts of the judging.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Winners<\/strong><br \/>\n1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive award certificates and a monetary prize based the sponsorship.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Publication and Indexing &#8211; Proceedings<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Papers will be published in the proceedings with DOI at IEOM Index.
