All submissions must be presented at the IEOM Conference. Awards will be given based on the technical content and presentation. \u00a0The winning awards will be given at the 2026 IEOM Milwaukee Conference.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The submitter must enroll in a doctoral program or be a recent graduate from a doctoral program<\/li>\n<li>An abstract or paper should be submitted<\/li>\n<li>The doctoral research must be presented via PPT at the 2026 IEOM Milwaukee Conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>IEOM Competition Rubrics<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall content: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Data analysis and results: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Presentation skills: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the topic \/ confident: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Answering questions: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Important Dates<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Submission Deadline: May 1, 2026<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Submission<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Paper must be submitted online: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=1gz1a0I\">https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=1gz1a0I<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Judging<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A group of academics \/ professionals will serve as judges and evaluate the papers and presentations. Scoring rubrics will be used for both parts of the judging.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Winners<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be selected based on judging.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Publication and Indexing &#8211; Proceedings<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Papers will be published in the proceedings with DOI at IEOM Index.
