He served at General Motors for 25 years, first as Director of Quality for North American Operations and later as Director of Quality for Asia Pacific Operations. Prior to joining GM, Mr. Khan worked in Aeronautics and Astronautics for eight years as a quality director, where he oversaw quality and reliability for the vessel guidance systems that helped send Americans to the moon.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Khan has been an instructor in the Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Department at UWM\u2019s College of Engineering and Applied Science for 50 years. He also serves as an academic staff mentor to several student organizations and was recently recognized with the 2026 Advisor of the Year award at UWM.
