Selected papers will be considered for the competition and must be presented at the conference via zoom at 2026 IEOM Milwaukee Conference. The paper will be judged based on the technical content and presentation. Winners will receive award certificates.<\/p>\n<p>IEOM Global Supply Chain Management focuses on the following areas but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cross-functional drivers in a supply chain<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Demand planning and forecasting in supply chain<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Designing distribution networks<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Inventory positioning in SC<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Optimization in supply chain<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Strategic, tactical and operational supply chain<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Managing uncertainty in a supply chain<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Global Supply Chain<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Logistics<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Risk in supply chain<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Resilience in supply chain<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Green or Sustainable Supply Chain<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Supply chain coordination and collaboration<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Supply chain performance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submissions must be related to real-life applications<\/li>\n<li>Practitioners or academicians can join the competition<\/li>\n<li>Papers can be industry projects as part of a course or co-op\/internship, or research projects done at the academic institution.<\/li>\n<li>The paper must be presented at the conference via zoom at IEOM Conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>IEOM Competition Rubrics<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall content: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Data analysis and results: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Presentation skills: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the topic \/ confident: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Answering questions: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Important Dates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deadline for submission of papers: May 1, 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Paper Guidelines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Authors must follow the IEOM paper guidelines (under the Authors menu) since the winning papers will be published in the conference proceedings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Submission:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Each paper must be submitted online: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=1gz1a0I\">https:\/\/www.xcdsystem.com\/IEOM\/abstract\/index.cfm?ID=1gz1a0I<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Judging:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A group of academics \/ professionals will serve as judge. Scoring rubrics will be used for both parts of the judging.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Winners:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive award certificates.<strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Publication and Indexing \u2013 Proceedings<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Papers will be published in the proceedings with DOI at IEOM Index.
