Students can submit abstract only and at the 11th International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations management to be held in Oman. The presentation will be judged based on the presentation only. A group of academics \/ professionals will serve as judges. Scoring rubrics will be used for both parts of the judging. Winners will receive award certificates. The winning awards will be given at the 2024 IEOM Oman Conference.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The submitter must be undergraduate student or recent graduate.<\/li>\n<li>Research can be industry sponsored projects as part of a course or co-op\/internship, or research projects done at the academic institution.<\/li>\n<li>Faculty and\/or an industry member may serve as an advisor on a project, but the work should primarily be done by the student(s).<\/li>\n<li>The abstract must be written by the student(s) with only minor outside editorial assistance. One or more advisors may appear as co-authors of an abstract or paper, but the student must be the \u2018first author\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>The abstract\/paper must be presented at the 2024 IEOM Oman Conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Important Dates<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nDeadline for submission: <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>Nov. 1, 2024<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>IEOM Competition Rubrics<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall content: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Data analysis and results: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Presentation skills: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the topic \/ confident: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<li>Answering questions: 1-5 points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Paper Guidelines:<\/strong><br \/>\nAuthors must follow the IEOM paper guidelines (under Authors menu) since the winning papers will be published in the conference proceedings and indexed at IEOM Index \u2013\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/index.ieomsociety.org\/\">https:\/\/index.ieomsociety.org\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Judging<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nA group of academics \/ professionals will serve as judges.
