Selected papers will be considered for the competition and must be presented at the IEOM Panama 2026 Conference. The paper will be judged based on the technical content and presentation during August 4-6, 2026. Winners will receive award certificates. The winning awards will be given at the IEOM Panama 2026 conference awards ceremony on August 6, 2026.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The submitter must me student or recent graduate<\/li>\n<li>Papers can be industry projects as part of a course or co-op\/internship, or research projects done at the academic institution.<\/li>\n<li>Faculty and\/or an industry member may serve as an advisor on a project, but the work should primarily be done by the student(s).<\/li>\n<li>The paper must be written by the student(s) with only minor outside editorial assistance. One or more advisors may appear as co-authors of a paper, but the student must be the \u2018first author\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>The paper must be presented at the IEOM Panama 2026 Conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Important Dates:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nDeadline for submission of papers: April<span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>\u00a030, 2026<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Paper Guidelines:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nAuthors must follow the IEOM Panama 2026 paper guidelines (under Authors menu) since the winning papers will be published in the conference proceedings.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>For any question, please contact undergraduate student paper competition committee chairs: Dr. Abbas Mahmoudabadi (<a href=\"mailto:mahmoudabadi@mehrastan.ac.ir\">mahmoudabadi@mehrastan.ac.ir<\/a>)<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Judging:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nA group of academics \/ professionals will serve as judge.
