I hope you are well in these challenging times, and I wish you and your loved ones health and safety as we all navigate this pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to announce the following finalists. The IEOM-FlexSim Student Simulation Competition is an international simulation competition hosted by the Industrial Engineering and Operations Management Society and FlexSim Software Products, Inc. that provides students with an opportunity to demonstrate their problem-solving, presentation, and discrete-event simulation modeling and analysis skills.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Awards:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All team members that submit a project will receive a Certification of Participation.<\/li>\n<li>Up to four teams will be selected as finalists. These teams will continue the competition at the IEOM International Conference in Singapore. The finalists will be ranked in terms of their excellence in simulation modeling and analysis and the overall quality of their project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Cash Prizes<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Cash prizes for each team, as shown below, and certificates of excellence for each team member, will be presented to the finalists at the conference\u2019s award dinner in IEOM Panama 2026.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Prize $1,500<\/li>\n<li>Second Prize $1,000<\/li>\n<li>Third Prize $750<\/li>\n<li>Fourth Prize $500<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Timeline<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All finalists must register for and attend the IEOM Panama 2026 conference.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Team Registration<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>All teams for the IEOM FlexSim Student Simulation Competition must register using this form by May 31, 2026.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Please Fill Out the Form at the End of this Page or <a href=\"https:\/\/ahadali.wufoo.com\/forms\/xjorpbe075i6or\/\">CLICK HERE<\/a><\/h2>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Costs<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>There is no cost to register for, and participate in, the competition.<\/li>\n<li>Each team member will receive a timed version of FlexSim simulation software for use during the competition period.<\/li>\n<li>The IEOM conference fee for the finalists will be covered by the conference\u2019s organizing committee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>General Rules, Guidelines and Eligibility<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Registration:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Each team must be composed of three or fewer students.<\/li>\n<li>At the time of registration, each team member must be registered as an undergraduate or graduate student at a participating institution.<\/li>\n<li>Each team member must register using their university email account.<\/li>\n<li>Any number of teams may register for the competition; however, no more than three teams from any one institution can submit their work for judging.<\/li>\n<li>All registrations must be made online through the IEOM Conference website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Competition:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>After the registration closes, the teams will receive a competition package including the case study, supporting information, and the final competition rules.<\/li>\n<li>All simulation modeling and analysis work must be done using FlexSim simulation software. Each team member will receive a FlexSim license for the competition.<\/li>\n<li>Each institution is limited to a maximum of three team submissions for judging.
