Developing Innovative Design Solutions with the Customer in Mind

What is all about?

The Student Global Design Competition provides an opportunity to develop an innovative idea that has the potential to be commercialized. Students will form a team, develop a preliminary idea and create prototype. You can submit an abstract, paper or PowerPoint presentation that will tell the story of your product. The following elements of the team idea should be included in your final PowerPoint presentation.

Get your team or teams registered for the competition

Submit your preliminary “Big Idea” as the initial submission for your team along via paper, abstract, PPT or poster.

Criteria

Each team should have 3-4 members
Must present the original idea
Students must be the first author. Faculty can join as a co-author.
Each attendee needs to register for the IEOM conference, attend the conference onsite or online and deliver an oral presentation
