Before this appointment he had been the Assistant Provost (2023 to 2024); Dean (2019-2024); and Vice Dean (2017-2018) at the School of Business. He was Head of Programme for an undergraduate and graduate programme between 2008 and 2018.<\/p>\n

He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1986 and the University of Strathclyde in 1989.\u00a0\u00a0 His previous work experience includes positions at Nanyang Polytechnic, Sentosa Development Corporation and Housing & Development Board.<\/p>\n

In 2020, he was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Bronze).<\/p>\n

Topic: Overview of Singapore\u2019s Supply Chain & Connectivity Ecosystem<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Mr. Dave Goh was appointed Vice President and Head for the Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM) Division at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) on 1 February 2024. The LSCM Division is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive growth and development of Singapore\u2019s supply chain and logistics sector. Dave is currently also serving as an Advisory Board Member to The Logistics Institute \u2013 Asia Pacific (TLIAP) at the National University of Singapore.<\/p>\n

Prior to his current appointment, Dave was Vice President at the Hub Services and Connectivity (HSC) Strategy Division between 2022 and 2024. Dave was also part of EDB\u2019s International Operations Division between 2019 to 2022. He was based in EDB\u2019s Sao Paulo office to oversee the South American market as Regional Director (Americas) and was subsequently based in EDB\u2019s Frankfurt Office to oversee Germany, Central Eastern Europe, Turkey and Russia as Regional Director (Europe).<\/p>\n

Before his overseas posting, Dave held various portfolios at EDB Headquarters (Singapore) including roles with the Strategy Division (Supply Chain and Connectivity), Market Connectivity Programme Office, Professional Services Cluster Division and Urban Solutions Programme Office.<\/p>\n

Between 2015 and 2017, Dave was a Management Consultant with Accenture\u2019s Management Consulting Team (Health and Public Sector) and he also spent time driving business transformation with his family business.<\/p>\n

He received a Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental Engineering) from the National University of Singapore, and a Masters in Environmental Studies from Aalborg University, Denmark.<\/p>\n

She was also a professor of Digital Supply Chain at ESSEC Business School. Mr. Law has been the CEO of the Singapore Logistics Association (SLA) since November 2024, leading over 700 logistics enterprises in fostering industry growth through local and international collaborations. Before SLA, he was Executive Director of the Transport & Logistics Division at Enterprise Singapore (2021-2024) and spent nearly three decades in public service, specializing in trade, investment, and economic development. His roles included Centre Director in Taipei and Beijing, Regional Director in Guangzhou, and Group Director of China Group, where he drove Singapore-China economic initiatives like Guangzhou Knowledge City. As Group Director of Transport & Logistics at Enterprise Singapore, he led efforts in innovation, capability building, and international expansion across logistics, mobility, aviation, and supply chain sectors. Mr. Law holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Second Upper Honours) from the National University of Singapore and an MBA from Tsinghua University. He is fluent in Mandarin and English.<\/p>\n

Dr. Archer Fu is currently the Vice President, Head of Business Development in DHL Global Forwarding Asia Pacific. He is responsible for sector development and business growth with MNC and strategic customers, providing supply chain advisory and effective logistics solutions.<\/p>\n

Dr Fu obtained his Ph.D. degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2002 in Singapore. He is also invited as the Visiting Professor of Supply Chain Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and the Visiting Professor of MBA Program at Zhejiang University. Dr. Rajesh Piplani is the director of M.Sc. (Supply Chain & Logistics) program at NTU. He obtained his M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University in 1990, and his Ph. D. from Purdue University in 1995. Dr. Piplani is listed in Marquis Who is Who in Science and Engineering in USA (1998-1999).<\/p>\n

He has over seven years of industry experience in India and USA in the areas of Supply-chain management and production planning of power plant equipment and semiconductor fabrication facilities. Since 1998, he has been on the faculty of NTU.<\/p>\n

He is Program Manager, Integrated Manufacturing and Service Systems (IMSS) for Singapore funding agency A*Star, managing the SGD 8 Million program. He is an associate consultant with Y3 Technologies. He also sits on the eSCM council of Singapore Manufacturers Association and the Council of Supply Management Institute of Germany.<\/p>\n

Dr. Piplani\u2019s interests are in the area of supply chain management of manufacturing enterprises, supply chain coordination, reverse logistics and design and analysis of manufacturing systems.<\/p>\n

T N Goh<\/b>, Professor Emeritus of the National University of Singapore (NUS), obtained his BE from the University of Saskatchewan and PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The positions he held include: Project Specialist, Lockheed; Head of Industrial and Systems Engineering \u00a0Department, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Director of Office of Quality Management, NUS.\u00a0 He was the Director of the Design Technology Institute International (a collaboration between Singapore and the Netherlands). \u00a0Prof Goh, a registered professional engineer, was the Founding President of the AIIE (the former IISE) Singapore Chapter. He has been invited to panels on quality and productivity assessments in industry, government, and higher institutions of learning in many countries. Specializing in Quality Engineering and Industrial Statistics, Prof Goh is a recipient of, among many other international honors, the 2023 ANQ (Asian Quality Network) Ishikawa-Kano Gold Medal and the 2012 ASQ (American Society for Quality) Grant Medal for outstanding contributions to the field of Quality.<\/p>\n

Dr. Luis Rabelo received the BS in Electro-Mechanical Engineer from the Technological University of Panama in 1983, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology in 1987 Master\u2019s and Doctorate in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri. He was a Postdoc at the University of Missouri in Nuclear Engineering. Dr. Rabelo received a dual MS in Systems and Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has worked for the Advanced Technology Group (Goodrich) and Honeywell Laboratories. Dr. Rabelo was a NASA Fellow from 2002 to 2005, and a Project Manager at NASA from 2009 to 2011. He is currently Professor in the Industrial Engineering and Management Systems Department at UCF. He is also the Undergraduate Coordinator. He has written more than 300 articles and a book in Artificial Intelligence. He has been the principal advisor for 39 Master\u2019s students and 29 PhDs. He received the award for the Best Scientific Article of the Year 2004 from the Society of Automotive Engineers, received the distinction \u201cONE NASA\u201d in 2006. He was the recipient of the Fulbright Distinction in 2008. In November 2008, he received the honor of the Technological University of Panama (UTP) of being the 2008 Distinguished Alumni. In 2011, he was the Henaac Award Winner in Education. In 2013 and 2018, he received the Forest R. McFarland Award from the Society of Automotive Engineering (SAE). Lately, he received the SAE Russell S. Springer Award for his article on the modeling of space operations systems in 2017.<\/p>\n
