Researcher leader in entrepreneurship and technology adoption
Camilo Alarcón Nieto is an academic and professional world with a strong foundation in Industrial Engineering and Economics. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Economics and Management at Fundación UNIR Colombia. He also serves as the lead researcher on entrepreneurial intention among university students and technology adoption in the health sector for low-income populations. He is nearing the completion of his Ph.D. in Administration at Universidad de los Andes, following his achievement of a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from Universidad EAFIT. His extensive career as both a consultant and an academic is marked by a significant focus on data analytics, enabling him to optimize business and economic strategies effectively. This expertise has been applied successfully in various international projects and academic settings, showcasing his adeptness at managing and adapting complex knowledge to diverse scenarios. In his consultancy role, particularly as a Junior Consultant at Ayala Consulting, Camilo played a critical part in the data analysis for Malawi’s Cash Transfer Lean Season project. His work there demonstrated his exceptional ability to apply economic theories in challenging international environments. Furthermore, as a university professor at Universidad Los Libertadores and UNIR, Camilo teaches fundamentals of economics, macroeconomics, and general economic history. His teaching method effectively integrates monetary theory with practical applications.

William E. Mosquera is a Chemical Engineer from the National University of Colombia in 1993; He is a specialist in distance education from UNAD in 2000, also a Master in Environmental Management from the Universidad de la Andes in 2014, currently a PhD student in engineering: industry and organizations at the National University of Colombia, leader of the Organizations and Organizations research group. O.E. strategy 4.0 categorized A1 in Colombia for 6 years; For more than 15 years he has taught environmental management courses and organizational process design in the business administration program at the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia. He has been the manager of the company JULMAT Comercializadores since 2000 in the infrastructure sector in technical and architectural finishes.

Industrial Engineer from the University of La Sabana (Colombia), Master in Project Management from BPP University (London-UK). He works on Project Management issues in different sectors of the national economy. Additionally, he is part of the Caribbean chapter of the PMI, based on international standards for project management. He has advised several projects on the strategic management and development of Business Case. He currently works as a Professor at the Technological University of Bolivar, where he is in charge of several research projects for the Master’s Degree in Project Management. Among them, projects with the Cartagena Chamber of Commerce and with the district of the city of Cartagena stand out.

Donald M. Reimer is an adjunct faculty at the A. Leon Linton Department of Mechanical Engineering in College of Engineering at Lawrence Tech in Southfield, Michigan. He coordinates the Certificate of Entrepreneurial Engineering Skills. Mr. Reimer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from Lawrence Technological University and a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from University of Detroit/Mercy. He is a Certified Management Consultant with over 35 years of experience in working with closely-held businesses. He has taught courses in entrepreneurship, strategic management, corporate entrepreneurship and innovation for engineers. Mr. Reimer is a member of the Lawrence Tech Kern Campus Committee, Coordinator of the Lawrence Tech Innovation Encounter. He is faculty Advisor of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization. Mr. Reimer serves as a Kern Fellow of The Kern Family Foundation, Co-Direct of the Coleman Fellows Program, member of the National Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization Faculty Advisory Council and is a member of the American Society of Engineering Education.
He has operated his own consulting company – The Small Business Strategy Group for 23 years. He published numerous articles on small business, entrepreneurship and strategic thinking. He has received several awards and recognition by local, state and federal agencies for his work in entrepreneurship and minority business development. Mr. Reimer served as member of the Minority Economic Development Committee of New Detroit. Mr. Reimer is member of the Small Business Advisory Council of the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Reimer is a member of Advisory Board of the Milwaukee Junction Small Business Assistance Center. He is also a member of the Applied Innovation Alliance. Mr. Reimer serves as a KEEN Fellow for The Kern Family Foundation and is a member of United States Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
