PREDICTED THE 2008 AND 2020 RECESSIONS – OFFERS A CURRICULUM THAT MEETS THE GLOBAL GOAL OF EDUCATION. FORMER INDUSTRY LEADER.
Satya Saurabh Khosla predicted the 2020 recession at the Dubai IEOM Conference on 9th March, 2020 and suggested a curriculum of education that could prevent future recessions. He was a joint venture partner of Suzuki Motorcycle (Pvt) Ltd was Vice Chairman of the company till he sold his stake before the recession in 2008. He was owner and Managing Director of Adimode Transnational Trading LLC in Dubai for two decades. He predicted the 2008 global economic recession in an article that was published a few days before the USA and global stock indices started falling. This article stated that USA Housing, excessive misuse of derivatives etc. will lead the global economy to a recession. The article’s mathematical calculation showed that the pain would become evident to all after December 2007. The author felt it is of more interest if a way to prevent it is pointed out. The book titled: How to Prevent Recession – using Ancient Wisdom and Management Ideas carries a Foreword by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and is reviewed by Prof Sir Cary Cooper of Manchester Business School and former Director of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad – Prof Pradip Khandwalla. His Holiness the Dalai Lama concludes his review as follows: “…This is a very profound concept put in a very simple and elegant format.” In 2017 The World Economic Forum presented its report on Future of Government to every national and state governments. It refers to his book. He has been a Chief Guest and keynote speaker at international conferences. He has written the course material for the World’s largest Open University, was on the Course Design Committee of the National Management Program and Member, Advisory Committee, National Conference on Government Policy and Corporate Strategy: Interlink ages – Organized by Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad. India. The WASC Senior College and University Commission in USA has asked for a copy of his work.

His main research topic is in the field of additive manufacturing (AM) and advanced design for AM, with a focus on Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) technology; applied to both polymers and metals.
Patrich is trying to push this technology towards more industrial use. The aim is to achieve greater reliability of components, thanks to the study of the origin of defects and their systematic reduction and the possibility to correctly simulate the printed parts.
He also deals with the application of 3D printing in the medical field.

He was also involved in the SKF UTC centre located in Lulea focused on SMART bearings and also actively involved in national projects with the Swedish industry or funded by Swedish national agencies like Vinnova.
