Dr. Asep Denih, M.Sc., Ph.D.

Presentation Title: Detection of Beef Freshness Using E-Nose and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) Method.

Dr. Asep Dehih is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Pakuan, Bogor, Indonesia, since 1997. He earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Informatics from the University of Miyazaki, Japan, in 2019, after previously earning a Master of Science degree in Information Technology for Natural Resources Management from IPB University, Bogor, Indonesia, in 2005 and a Bachelor of Informatics Engineering degree from University of Gunadarma, Depok, Indonesia, in 1996.

Dr. Dehih currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) University of Pakuan from 2020 to 2025 and as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Computing, published by the Department of Computer Science of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Pakuan. His research interests include environmental information systems, geographical information systems (GIS) and remote sensing (RS), information technology for natural resource management, and computer science.

In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Denih was also active in various organizations, including as the Chairman of the Indonesia Japan Student Association (PPIJ) at the Miyazaki Commissariat, the Chairman of the PPIJ Coordinator for the Southern of Japan Region covering Kyushu and Okinawa Prefectures, a Member of the PPIJ Supervisory Board, and the President of the Muslim Community of Miyazaki, Japan. He also frequently participates as a speaker at international conferences and seminars and have several relevant scientific publications in his field.

Dr. Yan Noviar Nasution, SE., MM. CA

Presentation Title: Payroll System: Tax and Accounting Information

Dr. Noviar works as a lecturer with a scientific background in  the field of accounting. He is a lecture at The Faculty of Economic Bussiness Universitas Pakuan, Accounting Dept. Dr. Noviar also lecture at the Postgraduate School of Universitas Pakuan. He was also seconded to the Pakuan Siliwangi Foundation as Head of the Budget and Finance Section. Apart from work, he does running a business in the field of accommodation/resorts and cafes/restaurants located in Rancamaya Bogor, Indonesia which has been running for 6 years.

Other experiences Dr. Noviar has served as Operational Director of PT. Pakuan Karya Mandiri, as Audit Manager at KAP – Bambang, Sutjjpto Ngumar & Partners and serves as Member of the Bogor City Wage Council. Besides he often involved as a speaker/resource person and in various teams to improve financial and HR governance in both agencies where he works in other agencies, especially in the Bogor city/regency government.

Dr. Noviar actively conducts research and community service, as a manifestation of my main duties as a lecturer.

Presentation title: Revolutionizing Planned Maintenance in the Maritime Industry: Leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Streamlined Repair List Integration, Predictive Maintenance, and Enhanced Stakeholder Communication

Agung Prajuhana Putra, M.Kom., is from Indonesia. He completed his undergraduate education in computer science in 2005 at Universitas Pakuan, Bogor, Indonesia, and earned a master’s degree in computer science at IPB University in 2015. He has been a lecturer in the Computer Science Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Pakuan, Bogor since 2011. Currently, he serves as the Head of the ICT (Information and Communication Technology) Unit at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Pakuan. Some organizational experiences he is currently involved in include being a Competency Assessor for BNSP (No. Reg. MET.000.009.107 2017), a member of the assessor development unit at the Association of Higher Education in Informatics and Computer (APTIKOM), a reviewer for the scientific journal of Information Systems at the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, and Programmer at PT. Automata Info Nusantara. His research areas include Computer Intelligence, Digital Systems, Electronics, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Software and Hardware Programming, Computer Networks, and Graphic Design and Multimedia.

Sara Nurmala, M.Farm.

Presentation Title: Lactagogum product innovation from a combination of Indonesian natural ingredients

 Sara Nurmala is a lecturer at Department of Pharmacy, The Faculty of Mathematic and Natural Sciences, Pakuan University (since 2017). The focus of the research is innovation in developing natural product products to solve health problems in Indonesia. Her main academic research interests are focused on Natural Product Innovation and Development of pharmacological activity from combinations of natural ingredients. Her field of research is pharmacology, toxicology and product development from natural ingredients. Several natural product products have been created, including kencur cookies for breastfeeding mothers, lemon lemongrass ginger drink for immunity and also related to the safety of several natural ingredients such as kencur, katuk leaves, ginger and others. The research that Dr. Nurmala wants to develop is also related to research on the pharmacoeconomics of mothers who breastfeed and those who do not breastfeed in terms of their child’s health development. Currently she is still studying PhD at Institut Teknologi Bandung taking the pharmacology and clinical pharmacy science.

Presentation Title: The Quality of Biopellet from Combination Walnut Kernel Shell (Canarium Indicum L.) from Bogor-Indonesia and Palm Kernel Shell as Renewable Energy

Linda Jati Kusumawardani works as a Lecturer in Chemistry with 9 years of experience in Chemistry Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Pakuan, specializing in delivering high-quality instruction and fostering student engagement in both theoretical and practical chemistry. She holds a master degree in Chemistry with a focus on innovative research in wastewater treatment and renewable energy. Ms. Linda is passionate about integrating research with teaching to provide students with cutting-edge knowledge and real-world applications. She has a proven track record in designing and implementing engaging curriculum, conducting impactful research, and contributing to academic publications and conferences. Committed to advancing sustainable solutions in chemistry while nurturing a collaborative and dynamic learning environment.

Her other experiences: currently she has also served as Document Control for 6 years of Laboratorium Service, Universitas Pakuan which accredited ISO/IEC 17025:2017.

Presentation title: An In-Depth Comparative Analysis of Dempster-Shafer and Certainty Factor Approaches for Precision Cassava Disease Diagnosis

Sufiatul Maryana, M.Kom. is originally from Indonesia. She completed her bachelor’s degree in computer science in 2005 at Pakuan University, Bogor, Indonesia, and obtained her master’s degree in computer science at IPB University in 2012. He has been a lecturer in Informatics Management Study Programme, Computer Engineering, Vocational School and Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Pakuan University, Bogor since 2008. Currently he serves as the Head of the Computer Engineering Study Programme, Pakuan University. Some of his current organizational experiences include being a BNSP Competency Assessor (Reg. No. MET.000.046.12 2019), a member of the assessor development unit at the Association of Informatics and Computer Higher Education (APTIKOM), a reviewer for the Information Systems scientific journal at the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, Teknokrat University Indonesia, an Expert at PT Smart Innovation Technology (SINOTEK). His research interests include Computer Intelligence, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and data mining.
