IEOM 2022 Sydney, Australia Conference will have a dedicated session for the Industry Solutions where distinguished practitioners provide their presentations including their experiences and journey to be successful. Fifteen featured speakers will be from various part of the world to address industrial challenges and opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability. Each speaker needs to submit a title of the talk, abstract and a short bio as well as power point presentation prior to the conference. Pringgo Widyo Laksono is an associate professor in Industrial Engineering. Since 2005, he joined as researcher at Production System Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia. He earned B.E. in Industrial Engineering from Universitas Diponegoro and M.Eng. in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. He was received a degree Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering from Gifu University, Japan. He has successfully supervised over than 30 undergraduate students and several Master and Ph.D students. Dr. Eng. Pringgo has involved with many international conferences such as ICEVT, ICIMECE, APCOM- IMEC (IEEE and AIP conference) and National conference committees. He has published 21 papers in journals and 37 conferences articles. His research interests are automation and production development systems engineering, human-machine interaction, intelligent machine, human factors engineering, robotics, and control system engineering. Currently, Dr. Eng. Pringgo Widyo Laksono is conducting research in Human-Automation Interaction based on bio-signal.

Topic: The profile of Malaysian contractors: What are the current status?
Ihfasuziella Ibrahim is a Researcher at Construction Research Institute of Malaysia (CREAM). CREAM is a research institute established under the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), which she joined in February 2013. Ihfasuziella received her Bachelor Science in Real Estate Management with Honors from UTHM, Johor in 2009. Upon completing her studies, she has been a research assistant in University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in 2010 under the Technology Management & Business Faculty. Due to high enthusiasm and encouragement for continuing studies, Ihfasuziella have been offered a place at University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia entering master’s level on Science in Property and Facilities Management in 2010. The title of her thesis is “Development of Space Charging Model in Malaysian Higher Education Institutions’.
Ihfasuziella completed her Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Facilities Management from MARA University of Technology (UiTM) under Faculty of Architecture, Planning and Surveying in 5 years and graduated in 2021. The title of her PhD thesis is ‘Development of Shopping Centre Classification Model using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP)’. She is also a member in Malaysian Association of Facilities Management (MAFM). Her research interests are currently in the areas of facilities management, property management, performance management, construction management and Industrialised Building System (IBS). She was published papers in the local and international conference, seminars, journals, articles, and chapter in books. She was involved with the development of a module entitled Technology and Innovation in Facility Management (SMT15103) in 2016 for Open University Malaysia (MSc Program) and Facilities Management module for CIDB. She also involved in book publishing entitled Facilities Management Initiatives and Empowerment for Construction Industry in Malaysia in 2021, Construction Law Report for Edition 2019 until 2021 and Managing Property and Facilities in Higher Education Institutions (Chapter 3-Space Management for an Effective Space Usage for Class Rooms in Academic Buildings in 2016.

Kim Sang Tran is a PhD candidate at Monash university, Vice President at Bilal Global Management Consulting (BGMC). He holds a B.S in Mechanical Engineering (Honours) from Vietnam National University – HCM and a Msc in Intelligent Micro/Nano in Konkuk university, South Korea. Mr. Kim Sang was an Engineering Assistant Manager at R&D Center, Hyosung Vietnam company. He also worked as Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Robert Bosch Vietnam before working for Stada Group as Senior Deputy Head of Operational Excellence where he received a best employee award from Stada company, he has hands-on experience in Lead Auditor, Quality management, Global integrity strategy. He is also a Global senior consultant for BGMC and joins many consultant projects for companies in various nations. Mr. Kim Sang has certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Six Sigma Management Institute. He has carried out the training course for professional problem solving (8D), Quality management systems, and Continuous improvement. He is working as a PhD candidate at Monash University in Australia and he has published 2 journal and 4 conference papers. His research interests include manufacturing optimization, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, micro/nano positioning manipulation and control system.

Khairunnisa Kamaruzzaman is a Researcher cum Special Officer at Construction Research Institute of Malaysia (CREAM). She is responsible for gathering, organizing, and reviewing the information needed for a particular topic, analyzing data, collecting, and comparing resources, ensuring facts, sharing results with the entire research team, following required methods, conducting fieldwork as needed, and keeping important information confidential. Knowledgeable of current market trends and aligns findings with research objectives. She has strong communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good time management skills to meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns directed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature, and determines the appropriate course of action, referral, or response. With nearly 5 years of professional experience in the construction industry, she worked as a civil and structural engineer before starting her current job as a researcher in the construction field at CREAM. She is responsible for the planning, design, and construction management of numerous structural and site related projects in Kuala Lumpur. Khairunnisa Kamaruzzaman holds a Bachelor (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering (2014) and an MSc in Project Management (2015) from the University of Science Malaysia (USM). Her area of study during the master’s programme focuses on civil and structural failures in the construction industry in Malaysia.

Adriano de Freitas is a visiting PhD scholar at Laboratory for Simulation and Modelling of Particulate Systems (SIMPAS), at the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. He also was an Erasmus+ exchange PhD at the Department of Mechanical and Energy Systems Engineering, University of Bradford, Bradford, United Kingdom. He is a PhD candidate at the Energy Program, Federal University of ABC, Santo Andre, Brazil. He is an Industrial Engineer who has worked with several engineering teams from American, Australian, Brazilian and German companies to make optimization projects that have further developed in order to allow better understanding of the interaction between materials conveyance, operational variables and the relationships through energy efficiency in heavy equipment. He has 10+ years of engineering experience in design, simulations, tests, process and teaching between industry and academia collaborations, solving technical problems with human solutions.

Eko Pujiyanto received the B.S. degree in Mathematics in 1993 and the M.Eng. degree in Industrial Engineering in 1998, both from Bandung Institute of Technology, Bandung and Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2012 from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He is also received Professional Engineer from Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta Indonesia. He is currently as an Associate Professor and Head of Master of Industrial Engineering Program. He is a member of The Center for Research in Manufacturing System at Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta Indonesia. His main research is the modeling and experimentation of manufacturing processes. His research interests include modeling and optimization of sustainable manufacturing process using statistical and computational, and data analysis and optimization using heuristics. In addition to research in the field of sustainable manufacturing modeling, he is also experimental-based research related to biomaterials using the Taguchi Method. The results of the multi-response experiment using the Taguchi method were optimized simultaneously with the multi-objective optimization tool. He has authored and coauthored several papers on these subjects. He has published more than 40 papers in journals and international conferences and owned h-index 5. He has been involved as a reviewer in several journals, such as the International Journal of Production Research, Production & Manufacturing Research, International Journal of Management Science and Engineering Management, International Journal of Applied Science and Engineering and Safety and Health at Work. He has completed the supervision of 15 Master Students and over 50 Undergraduate Students.
