What is all about?
The IEOM Global Design Competition provides an opportunity to develop an innovative idea that has the potential to be commercialized. Students will form a team, develop a preliminary idea, record, and submit an abstract and begin the process of creating an abstract, paper or PowerPoint presentation that will tell the story of your product. The following elements of the team idea should be included in your final PowerPoint presentation.

Get your team or teams registered for the competition
Submit your preliminary “Big Idea” as the initial submission for your team along via paper, abstract, PPT or poster. You will be presenting the
Criteria
- Each team should have 3-4 members.
- Must present the original idea and prototype.
- Students must be the first author. Faculty can join as a co-authors.
- Each attendee needs to register for the IEOM Ghana 2027 conference and deliver an oral presentation onsite or virtual via zoom.
