IEOM Global Design Competition
Developing Innovative Design Solutions with the Customer in Mind
What is all about?
The Student Global Design Competition provides an opportunity to develop an innovative idea that has the potential to be commercialized. Students will form a team, develop a preliminary idea and create prototype. You can submit an abstract, paper or PowerPoint presentation that will tell the story of your product. The following elements of the team idea should be included in your final PowerPoint presentation.
The Student Global Design Competition offers students a unique opportunity to develop and showcase innovative ideas with commercial potential. Participants will collaborate in teams to conceptualize, design, and prototype a groundbreaking product or solution.

- Problem Identification: Define the challenge your design aims to solve.
- Innovation & Uniqueness: Explain what makes your idea novel and marketable.
- Design & Development Process: Outline the steps taken from concept to prototype.
- Feasibility & Commercial Potential: Assess the scalability and real-world impact of the design.
