Ahad Ali is an Associate Professor and Director of Industrial Engineering Programs (BSIE & MSIE), Director of Graduate Certificate in Lean Six Sigma and Director of Smart Manufacturing and Lean Systems Research Group, A. Leon Linton Department of Mechanical, Robotics and Industrial Engineering at the Lawrence Technological University, Southfield, Michigan, USA. He established Siemens Electro-Matic Industrial Engineering Lab at LTU in 2019. Dr. Ali was the primary author of the ABET self-study report of the BSIE Program at LTU in 2022. He earned B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), Bangladesh, Masters in Systems and Engineering Management from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, USA. Dr. Ali was Assistant Professor in Industrial Engineering at the University of Puerto Rico – Mayaguez, Visiting Assistant Professor in Mechanical, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Toledo and Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at the Bangladesh Institute of Technology, Khulna. He received an Outstanding Professor Award of the Industrial Engineering Department, University of Puerto Rico -Mayaguez, (2006-2007). He has published 60 journal and 150 conference papers. Dr Ali has conducted research projects with Chrysler, Ford, DTE Energy, New Center Stamping, Whelan Co., Delphi Automotive System, GE Medical Systems, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, International Truck and Engine Corporation (ITEC), National/Panasonic Electronics, and Rockwell Automation. His research interests include manufacturing systems modeling, simulation and optimization, intelligent scheduling and planning, artificial intelligence, predictive maintenance, e-manufacturing, and lean manufacturing. He supervised 11 doctoral students. Dr. Ali has involved with many international conference committees. He is the Founder of IEOM Society International and serving as an Executive Director. He is a member of the SAQS Committee and was on the Board of the Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (a SAARC-recognized body) and a Government of India nominee on the Indian National Commission for Cooperation with the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). He is on the editorial boards of many international and national journals. He is on the Board of the Global Foundation for Research in Corporate Governance and has been on the panel of the Union Public Service Commission, India. He has been a member of the committees to select top management personnel appointed by a few state governments, public sector enterprises, and private sector organizations. He was a part of the Department of Training and Personnel, the Government of India’s drive to train civil service personnel through vertical and horizontal programs organized in India and their exposure to training abroad. He has published his research in National and International indexed journals and books, among others from Springer, Routledge, Elsevier, United Nations, and Academic Foundation. He acts as a management education specialist for the Higher Education Commission, South Africa, Times Higher Education (THE), and Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). He was a member of the Board of Governors, Executive Committee, and Finance Committee of the Institute of Public Enterprise. He participates in the ERASMUS+ Program of the European Union. He was a Team Member, JEAN Monnet Chair, Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He is a member, of the India – Bangladesh – Nepal Trilateral Dialogue on Public Policy. He was on the Joint Advisory Commission, the Government of India, and the National Research Council Thailand, Thailand. He was a Member of the International Development Research Centre – Indian Council of Social Science Research study team on ‘Social Science Research in India’. His domain of research includes digital twins and structural health monitoring, non-destructive testing and evaluation, ultrasonics and acoustics, micro aerial vehicles, aerodynamics, neural networks and pattern recognitions. Dr Malolan is the recipient of many awards such as NDRF design award presented by Institution of engineers for design and development of flapping wing micro air vehicles, Silicon medal by DRDO for the development of acoustic emission technique for testing rocket motor casings, DRDO performance excellence award for path breaking research in missile systems. Prof. Shekar has 15 years of experience in academia and 15 years in Industry. Prof. Shekar Babu is an Associate Dean & Professor at AMRITA University, Mysuru Campus, Karnataka, India. He was the founding head of AMRITA School of Business, Bangalore. He started AMRITA School of Business, Bangalore in 2007 in collaboration with State University of New York (SUNY), Buffalo, USA. He was also an Adjunct Faculty at School of Management, University at Buffalo, NY, USA. He worked for 10 years as a Director of Hewlett-Packard’s Software Division, California, USA. He was responsible for managing the $1Billion revenues. He worked 5 years as a Management Consultant at Price Waterhouse (PWC), Los Angeles, California, USA. He led the “Education through Rural Transformation” project by implementing “Village Resource Centers (VRC)” across 5 remote locations in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The VRC project was in collaboration with ISRO and with the help of corporate funding from HP, Microsoft, CTS and CISCO.
Prof. Shekar has been working with international researchers and consultants from USA, Australia and Europe on mandated CSR and Sustainability projects with focus on Indian government and private companies. He has published close to 50+ high-impact journal international conference papers. Prof. Shekar is also a guest editor is some prestigious research journals like “Sustainability Accountability Public Governance”, Industrial Marketing Management” and “Journal of Finance and Accounting”. Prof. Shekar is the Head of “AMRITA Center for Responsible Innovations and Sustainable Enterprises – ARISE” Lab. He has already secured funding of more than 2 Crores from HP, Microsoft, Cognizant, Cisco and SAN Engineering and Locomotives. Professor Sivakumar Krishnan is Director, VEDIC in charge of Learning and Innovation related to faculty development at Sri Vishnu Educational Society. VEDIC is a certified Accredited Training Center for IGIP and offers programs for faculty development to enable the certification under his leadership. Dr. Krishnan has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Aerospace Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and an MS and PhD in Aerospace Engineering from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He has completed PostDoctoral research in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University, West Lafayette. He is a certified International Engineering Educator with over 15 years experience in teaching, training and faculty development. He has supervised 30 undergraduate and 2 PhD students in research, taught courses in the thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer and has published engineering education papers including one of Project Based Learning in Thermodynamics which was presented at ASEE in 2009 and was recognized as an Outstanding contribution in Mechanical Engineering Education. He has published several journal articles in the areas of combustion and engineering education and has two patents. Since 2013, he has developed and conducted over 100 training programs for faculty on instructional design, assessment and student engagement, design thinking, research methods and entrepreneurship. He has won business plan competitions and innovation awards for startup funding and had a one year stint with an educational media startup. He has 5 years of industry experience in the area of internal combustion engine development where he developed innovative technologies to improve the fuel economy and performance of a high volume V6 gasoline (petrol) engine.

Widely travelled globally, Dr Subhash Rastogi, has 50 years of experience with world-class B-Schools, MNCs, Corporate Education & Professional Bodies. This includes 10 Years of Manufacturing Industries, 15 Years of academic leadership at IIM Mumbai (earlier-NITIE), 15 years of Technology Corporates Academies Setting-up and Managing (at Infosys, HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindras etc.), 5 years of Entrepreneurship and 5 years of Industry Mentoring. He is a blend of expertise of Engineering & Business Management, Lean Digital Project & Manufacturing Management, Digitalization of Businesses, Mentoring the Star-Ups and also has synergy of experience in Academia and Industry. In short, he has been an Educator, Author, Entrepreneur, Mentor-Trainer, Speaker.
He is B. Tech & M. Tech. from I.I.T., Kanpur, and fellowship (Ph.D.) from IIM Mumbai (earlier NITIE). He was awarded Fellowship of IIIE recently, etc.
He has vast consulting experience in large Corporate Houses in Government, Service Sector, Private Sector, and Public Sectors, including overseas. Trained 4000+ executives in US, UK, India etc. in various MNCs, and taught 1500+ PG students. Also presented several papers International Conferences in more than 10 countries, besides being an author of two international books. First draft of next book “Lean Construction 4.0: 4th revolution in Construction Management” is ready. He received 3 International awards (PMI & CorpU. USA), 2 National Awards and 35+ Corporate awards from Infosys, HCL, Tech Mahindra etc. As social volunteer service, he served as Member, Advisory Group, Registered Education Providers, PMI, USA, 2008-Dec 2010, and Member Board of Directors, Engineers Without Border-International, USA from 2021-2023 and EWB-India from 2019-2021.

India Limited – Andhra Pradesh. Joined as a GET (Graduate Engineer Trainee), Held the position of Construction Superintendent for first four years. Then held the position of Asst. Manager Major projects (key Accounts) for 5 years. Then held the position of Customer Service Manager Handling Maintenance and Service Sales function for the state of United Andhra Pradesh. During my entire tenure of 14 years at OTIS, I was heading the safety and quality function with EH&S and ACE program directly under my leadership.
