IEOM Doctoral Dissertation Competition
The IEOM Doctoral Dissertation Competition recognizes outstanding research in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, systems engineering, operations research, engineering management and operations management. All submissions must be presented at the IEOM Paris Conference. Awards will be given based on the technical content and presentation. These awards are presented at the 2018 IEOM Paris Awards Banquet.
Eligibility Criteria
- The submitter must enroll in a doctoral program or be a recent graduate in 2018 from a doctoral program
- An abstract and power point presentation should be submitted in one file.
- The doctoral research must be presented at the IEOM Paris Conference.
Important Dates
Paper submission deadline: 15 February 2018 (Extended)
Notification of acceptance: 15 March 2018
Camera-ready paper submission deadline: 15 April 2018
Registration deadline: 1 May 2018
Conference: 26-27 July 2018

Judging
A group of academics / professionals will serve as judges and evaluate the papers and presentations. Scoring rubrics will be used for both parts of the judging.
Winners
1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be selected based on judging.
