IEOM Global Business Management Education forum focuses on quality education and curriculum improvement, assessments, learning and career development in the field of Business Management. It addresses the issues in producing industry ready business management graduates around the globe. IEOM Global Business Management Education forum focuses on the following areas but not limited to:
  • Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Management Information Systems, IT, Cybersecurity, Finance, Project Management, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Risk Management, ERP/CRM, Quality Management, Inventory Management, Lean Management, Management Science, Productivity Management and similar topics
Each speaker would need to submit the title of the talk, photo and a short bio as well as a power point presentation. All details will be included in the 5th Australian Wollongong -2026 Conference proceedings. Dr Samadi Madiwala is a dedicated and experienced academic with over a decade of teaching business management subjects both in Australia and internationally. She holds a PhD from Victoria University, where her doctoral research was underpinned by a novel theoretical framework integrating Human Resource Management and Crisis Management. In addition to her PhD, Dr Madiwala holds a Master of Science in International Management and Strategy and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Human Resource Management (HRM).

Her teaching experience spans a range of business disciplines, including HRM, Strategic Management, Quality Management, Innovation, and Change Management. Her research interests lie in investigating the strategic role of people management specifically during times of crisis and uncertainty. She serves as a Sessional Academic across multiple higher education institutions including Victoria University.
Dr Madiwala has presented her research at leading academic forums, including the International Conference on Business Management and Governance and International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management, contributing valuable insights to the field of business and management.

Dr George Panas has 25 years of senior management experience in industry and consulting. After that, he transitioned to academia with the completion of his PhD in 2022. His areas of interest or specialisation include: E-commerce supply chains (grocery, general merchandise & apparel retail), Supply chain and the UN SDGs (including modern slavery, environmental / food and packaging waste, procurement diversity), Supply chain strategy & network design/optimisation, Retail global sourcing & logistics, Supply chain operations in Asia (including China, HK, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc),International supply chain management (sea & air freight, freight forwarding, origin value added services, etc), Corporate strategy, financial planning and analysis, Financial/Mathematical optimisation modelling & techniques and Supply chain commercial finance.
