Carlos Guilherme Frias
Innovation Digital Transformation Leader & Product Owner
I have two synergetic Master degrees that give the required tools to overcome as many barriers as I come across with. Thanks to an objective reasoning, focus and teamwork, I have held projects in more than 7 different countries and countless sectors. Feel free to contact me, or to skim my profile.
I began working in GSK (Belgium) reporting to the PMO of the Supply-Chain department learning and contributing to several ongoing projects. After a while, I moved back to Portugal where I was Senior Lean Consultant in Kaizen Consulting Group, working in 4 countries and +20 clients. Currently, I work in Millennium BCP Bank Group, leading digital transformation projects, redesigning key-processes within the organization and promoting a customer-centric and agile bank. Two umbrella projects include managing a +2M€ Service Channel and being Product Owner of a Conversational AI tool (manager of Product Development team).
I am therefore proficient in implementing digital ecosystems aligned with a continuous-improvement culture, leading to disruptive and impacting results and projects. After countless key-account projects on different industries and geographies, I was praised by team-members and clients for my personal refreshing mindset to develop, plan and implement innovative initiatives, thriving in these time-bounded and intense interactions.
I have graduated with honorable mentions (summa cume laude) and as class’ valedictorian, which allowed me to enrol in a premium-Master programme (Double Master Degree). I unlocked the possibility to grow in two areas to which I am found to: Industrial Engineering and Management & Business Engineering. Minors included Operational Research, Sourcing and Procurement, Marketing and Supply Chain Management.
Progressively excelling at managing my time and energy, I constantly find new opportunities to grow, being active on several international institutions. ESTIEM stands out giving me the opportunity to develop new work-methods and to succeed managing multicultural teams. As European Project Leader, I was constantly challenged, improving my Coordination- and Soft-skills. Similarly, at IST, as a student association VP, I have conceptualized, organized and promoted avg. 2 events per month, reaching +600 participants, while volunteering as a mentor.
