Prof Aftab Alam is a Visiting Professor at CMS Jamia Millia Islamia for Executive MBA Program and Member Advisory Council of Harvard Business Review, USA. He has also served as Dean Faculty of Commerce and Management at Rama University Kanpur recently, its before he was also Dean FCM at Integral University, Luck now during (2013- 16), and MIMT Greater Noida (2006-2007).
He has obtained his Masters, M. Com and M.Phil. from Aligarh Muslim University and has his MBA from Algappa University, Tamilnadu. In addition, he has his PG Diploma in Travel & Tourism Management from FCI (Aligarh) Ministry of Tourism, Govt. Of India. For his higher education, he has completed his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Atlantic University Honolulu, USA.
He has been Conferred 21st Century Educational Leadership Awards 2018 and recognized as Acclaimed Educator, In addition he has also been conferred as the Distinguished Teacher in Management at MTC Management Excellence Award-2018 ceremony at Bangalore. He is also a recipient of Best Professor in Services Marketing at ICBM Conference Hyderabad on 24 Nov,2018 Further to seeing his credence in Dec 15, 2018 He was accorded ‘Acclaimed Educator’ and has been awarded by American Leadership Award, 2018.

Dr Alireza Shokri is an Associate Professor (Reader) in Operations and Supply Chain Management and the subject group leader of “Operations, Supply Chain and Logistics Management” in the Department of Operations, Marketing and Systems. Prior to the current position, Alireza was the programme leader for the BA (Hon) International Business Management Programme. Before joining Newcastle Business School in 2011, Alireza had different practitioner roles including supply chain manager, quality manager, and ISO9001 internal consultant in food sector. Alireza got his first degree in Agriculture Engineering in University of Zanjan, Iran following by MSc in Food Technology in 2001 in Teesside University in the UK. Alireza completed his PhD in Lean Six Sigma application within food distribution SMEs in 2011 and since then he is working as an academic.
Alireza is passionate in teaching and research. He is very active in action research and research/Enterprise development activities. Alireza is currently leading the “Global Operations and Supply Chain Competitiveness” Research Interest Group with academic members across the globe. Alireza is also member of editorial board for the “International Journal of Lean Six Sigma”. As the referee, Alireza is serving many different specialised and high ranking journals such as “International Journal of Operations and Production Management”, “International Journal of Production Economics”, “International Journal of Lean Six Sigma” and “International Journal of Quality and Reliability Management”. As the principal investigator, Alireza currently led a British Academy – funded project about Green application of Lean Six Sigma projects in manufacturing sector. He is also part of the project management team as the quality manager and researcher of a multi-disciplinary global EU-funded (1m Euros) project as part of “Horizon 2020” called “GETM3 Project”. The latest research funded project that Alireza was involved as principal investigator was an Innovate UK-funded feasibility study (£300k) in collaboration with external partners in digital supply chain and predictive maintenance integration.
Alireza’s research focuses on Lean Six Sigma and its application in service and manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma integration with Supply Chain Management, HR and Sustainability, Supply Chain Quality Management and process improvement and Lean Management. His research has been published in international leading/excellence level journals in his research including “International Journal of Operations and Production Management (ABS 4*).
Alireza is the member of Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) as the practitioner. Alongside that, Alireza is the Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA), member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), and member of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) that is co-joint professional body with Chartered Institute of Operations Management (CIOM). Alireza is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Green belt with professional capability of leading on lean Six Sigma projects.
Alireza is keen on working with local, national and international businesses and he is the strong believer on “Research in Practice”. Alireza is currently working with leading organisations such as “Unipress”, “Nifco”, “NBT”, “North East Chamber of Commerce”, “North East Freight Partnership”, etc.

Dr. Abdul Talib Bon is Professor of Technology Management in Department of Production and Operations Management, Faculty of Technology Management and Business at the Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. He has a PhD in Computer Science, which he obtained from the Universite de La Rochelle, France in the year 2008. His doctoral thesis was on topic Process Quality Improvement on Beltline Moulding Manufacturing. He studied Business Administration major in Quality Management at the master’s level in the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia for which he was awarded the MBA in the year 1998. He’s bachelor degree and diploma in Mechanical Engineering which his obtained from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He received his postgraduate certificate in Mechatronics and Robotics from Carlisle, United Kingdom in 1997. He is Managing Director of UTHM Teaching Factory and Manager of Centre for Technology (Furniture Innovation Technology) from 1 September 2016 and Head of Program Bachelor of Technology Management (Furniture Design and Manufacturing) with Honours from 2014 until now. Before this he was the Deputy Dean (Research and Development) at the Faculty of Technology Management and Business in the Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia from 2008 until December 2011. Dr. Abdul Talib Bon has had over 28 year experience of teaching in higher learning education. A major part of his teaching experience involves teaching mechanical engineering students in polytechnics. However, from the year 1999, he was given the opportunity to be jointed in the Institut Teknologi Tun Hussein Onn (ITTHO), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia as a lecturer in Mechanical Engineering Department. In this institute, he teaches engineering management and quality control at the under-graduate level. Dr. Abdul Talib Bon has multidisciplinary research interests that encompass industrial engineering, quality management and production and operation management. His completed ten research grant projects include applications of forecasting in industries. His current research project is looking into developing process quality improvement (PQI) in manufacturing industries. He has supervised more than 65 undergraduate and postgraduate research projects. He has served as a reviewer for a number of engineering management and computer science conferences and journals as part of his expertise sharing initiatives. He had published more than 150 International Proceedings and International Journals and 8 books. He is also President of Industrial Engineering and Operation Management Society (IEOMS, Malaysia), Council member of Management Science and Operation Research Society of Malaysia (MSORSM), member of International Association of Engineers (IAENG), member of Institute of Industrial Engineer (IIE), USA, member of International Institute of Forecasters (IIF), member of Technological Association of Malaysia (TAM) and associate member of Malaysian Institute of Management (AMIM).

Prof. Shekar has 15 years of experience in academia and 15 years in Industry. Prof. Shekar Babu is the founding head of AMRITA School of Business, Bangalore. He started AMRITA School of Business, Bangalore in 2007 in collaboration with State University of New York (SUNY), Buffalo, USA. He was also an Adjunct Faculty at School of Management, University at Buffalo, NY, USA. He worked for 10 years as a Director of Hewlett-Packard’s Software Division, California, USA. He was responsible for managing the $1Billion revenues. He worked 5 years as a Management Consultant at Price Waterhouse (PWC), Los Angeles, California, USA. Prof. Shekar has been actively working on Sustainability, SDG and CSR projects since 2007. He led the “Education through Rural Transformation” project by implementing “Village Resource Centers (VRC)” across 5 remote locations in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The VRC project was in collaboration with ISRO and with the help of corporate funding from HP, Microsoft, CTS and CISCO.
Prof. Shekar has been working with international researchers and consultants from USA, Australia and Europe on mandated CSR and Sustainability projects with focus on Indian government and private companies. He has published close to 50+ high-impact journal international conference papers. Prof. Shekar is also a guest editor is some prestigious research journals like “Sustainability Accountability Public Governance”, Industrial Marketing Management” and “Journal of Finance and Accounting”. Prof. Shekar is the Head of “AMRITA Center for Responsible Innovations and Sustainable Enterprises – ARISE” Lab. He has already secured funding of more than 2 Crores from HP, Microsoft, Cognizant, Cisco and SAN Engineering and Locomotives. The main areas of research include Technology for Social Good, Sustainability, SDGs, CSR and Ethics.

Prof. Yiğit Kazançoğlu graduated from Izmir American College in 1998. Kazancoglu received his B.S. degree from Eastern Mediterranean University, Dept. of Industrial Engineering as an Honour student and second in dept. ranking. He has graduated from Coventry University, England, MBA and Izmir University of Economics MBA programs as a High Honour student, respectively in 2003 and 2004. Kazancoglu has received his PhD. at Ege University (Production & Operations Management). He was a research assistant between 2002-2005, instructor between 2005-2008, Assistant Professor Dr. between 2008-2013; and Associate Professor Dr. between Januay 2014-2016 in Izmir University of Economics, Dept. of Business Administration. Between December 2016 – May 2019 he worked as Associate Professor Dr. in Yasar University, International Logistics Management Department. In May 2019, he is assigned as Full Professor Dr. in the same department. He completed his military service as an academician in Turkish Military Academy in 2009. He was the director of Izmir University of Economics Continuing Education Center (EKOSEM) between 2009-2014 and member of the executive board in Center for Urban and Regional Development and Environment (URDE/EKOKENT) between 2008-2016. He is the head of International Logistics Management Department in Yasar University since 2017. Dr. Zghair earned Master’s degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and Doctor’s Degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Lawrence Technological University, Michigan, USA. He has published several peer reviews papers in many journals and conferences. Dr. Zghair’s research interest covers industrial systems flexibility, automation, and robotics, using analytical modeling, simulation, and optimization. Dr. Zghair’s teaching experience covers five main areas of industrial engineering, systems modeling and simulation, IIoT and automation integration, ergonomics and workplace design, engineering economics, applied control-PLC, and lean manufacturing; smart manufacturing.
