Dear Colleagues,

IEOM Society International is pleased to invite award nominations for the IEOM World Congress 2026 Awards, to be presented at the IEOM World Congress in Irvine, California, USA on October 15, 2026.

The IEOM Awards Program recognizes distinguished academic and industry professionals, researchers, educators, students, innovators, and organizations for outstanding contributions to Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, and related fields.

For the Irvine World Congress 2026, we particularly encourage nominations recognizing leadership and achievements in the transformation of modern industry through Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, advanced manufacturing, robotics, automation, electric vehicles, electronics, semiconductor manufacturing, digital twins, additive manufacturing, and smart factory technologies.

We encourage universities, industries, professional organizations, IEOM chapters, faculty members, students, and individuals to nominate deserving candidates. Self-nominations are welcome.

Eligibility Criteria

Nominees should:

  • Demonstrate significant contributions to Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or related fields.
  • Demonstrate significant achievement in the respective award category.
  • Demonstrate meaningful impact through research, education, technology, industry, professional service, or societal contributions.
  • For industry awards: Demonstrate successful implementation, innovation, productivity improvement, cost reduction, quality improvement, sustainability, operational excellence, or other measurable outcomes.
  • For research awards: Demonstrate significant scholarly contributions through publications, patents, research projects, technology development, or other research achievements.
  • For teaching awards: Demonstrate excellence and innovation in teaching, curriculum development, student engagement, mentoring, or educational impact.
  • Attend the IEOM World Congress 2026 in Irvine, California, in person.

Preference may be given to contributions demonstrating significant impact in Industry 4.0, AI, advanced manufacturing, EV manufacturing, electronics and semiconductors, robotics, automation, digital twins, additive manufacturing, smart factories, and sustainable manufacturing.

Nomination Package Requirements

Each nomination package should include:

  • Completed Nomination Form – https://ieomsociety.org/awards/
  • IEOM Society Contribution Summary (see details below)
  • Current CV highlighting relevant publications, patents, awards, honors, projects, industrial implementations, and key accomplishments
  • Award-Specific Statement highlighting the specific work, achievement, project, research, teaching, or contribution for which the nominee is being considered 

IEOM Society Contribution Summary

Nominees for IEOM Society Awards are encouraged to provide a separate summary highlighting their engagement, service, leadership, and contributions to the IEOM Society International. 

Please summarize the nominee’s involvement in the following areas, as applicable:

  1. IEOM Conference Participation
  • Number of IEOM conferences attended
  • Years and locations of participation
  • Roles as presenter, session chair, keynote speaker, organizer, committee member, or other contributor
  • Contributions to the growth and success of IEOM conferences
