Activity Report – March and April 2025

1) Project: Evaluation of worker assistance systems  (March & April, 2025)

We continued our collaboration with the Production Research Factory at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg, focusing on the evaluation of worker assistance systems used in assembly and production environments.

The first phase of our project is now nearing completion. During this phase, we conducted thorough desk research, which included a market analysis of current worker assistance systems, a review of related academic and industrial work in the field, and an exploration of relevant psychological concepts. Additionally, we developed qualitative research guidelines to support the data collection in the upcoming second phase.

We recently presented the results of this first phase at the Production Research Factory at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg.

2) Extension of the Student Chapter (March, 2025)

This semester, our chapter has grown both in membership and diversity! We’re excited to now include students from a wider range of study programs — including Business Psychology, Data Science, and Business Engineering. This interdisciplinary mix brings fresh perspectives and new ideas to our projects.

We officially kicked off the semester in March with an engaging introductory session to welcome new members and get everyone aligned for the months ahead.

3) Membership Promotion & Presentation of Chapter (April, 2025)

At this year’s Pyramid — the career and networking fair of the Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg — we hosted a booth to present our chapter and connect with potential new members. The event was a great opportunity to showcase who we are, what we do, and how students can get involved in our ongoing projects and initiatives.

Throughout the day, we engaged in conversations with many curious and motivated students from a variety of study programs. We introduced them to the core activities of our chapter, including our ongoing collaboration with the Production Research Factory, and explained how being part of our team can help develop valuable skills in research, teamwork, and leadership.
