IEOM Society International addresses the issues of Global Supply Chain and Logistics. There are various levels of readiness of engineering graduates from various parts of the world. One of the main themes is how to reduce the readiness gap of business management graduates around the world. The special focus is given to operations management, management science, supply chain management, business analytics, and logistics management. Are the graduates ready to take on the challenges of the current global economy? IEOM Vietnam Conference will have a dedicated session for the Global Business Management Education where distinguished speakers will discuss the readiness of business management graduates for workforce around the world. Featured speakers will be from various part of the world to address business management education challenges and opportunities.

Title: Problem Based Learning for Techno-economic Analysis for Logistics System Course: Case in a State-owned Warehouse
Muhammad Hisjam is a Lecturer at the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sebelas Maret since 1998. He earned Bachelor’s in Agro-industrial Technology from Universitas Gadjah Mada, a Master in Industrial Engineering & Management from Institut Teknologi Bandung, and Ph. D in Environmental Science from Universitas Gadjah Mada. His research interests are supply chain, logistics, business, and sustainable development. He published some papers in journals and proceeding his research area. He and his team have won some research grants from Government institutions and private companies. He holds an Accredited Supply Chain Analyst from the American Academy of Project Management. He is the Head of the Logistics System and Business Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sebelas Maret. He is one of the directors of IEOM Indonesia Professional Chapter. He is a member of IISE, AAPM and IEOM.

Dr. Ahad Ali is an Associate Professor and Director of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Master of Science in Industrial Engineering in the A. Leon Linton Department of Mechanical, Robotics and Industrial Engineering at the Lawrence Technological University, Michigan. Dr. Ali is the Director of Smart Manufacturing and Lean Systems Research Group. He earned B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh, Masters in Systems and Engineering Management from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Dr. Ali is the Executive Director of IEOM Society and Conference Chair of the Sixth International Conference on Industrial Engineering and operations Management, Kuala Lumpur 2016. He advised six doctorate students in Doctor of Engineering in Manufacturing Systems. Dr. Ali has published journal and conference papers. He was past President of IIE Lean Division. Dr Ali has done research projects with Chrysler, Ford, DTE Energy, Delphi Automotive System, GE Medical Systems, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, International Truck and Engine Corporation (ITEC), National/Panasonic Electronics, and Rockwell Automation. His research interests include quality, reliability, six sigma, manufacturing, simulation, optimization, scheduling, maintenance, e-manufacturing, lean, CAE and GD&T and. He is a member of ASEE, IEEE, IEOM, INFORMS, and SME.
