1. Overview and Institutional Headquarters
The IEOM Durango Chapter (Industrial Engineering and Operations Management) officially designates the Faculty of Chemical Sciences at the Juárez University of the State of Durango (UJED) as its primary headquarters for the 2026 academic and professional cycle.
This initiative is a collaborative effort between the following strategic partners:
- UJED (Faculty of Chemical Sciences)
- Durango Institute of Technology (ITD)
- COCYTED (Science and Technology Council of the State of Durango)
2. Core Strategic Pillars
The chapter’s activities are designed to impact two fundamental areas for the region’s growth:
- Local Problem Solving: Utilizing industrial engineering methodologies to address and solve specific operational and technical challenges within the Durango community and its local industries.
- Space Development Environments: Promoting the participation of Durango’s academic and industrial sectors in aerospace research, satellite technology, and the development of space-related ecosystems within the state.
