IEOM Industry Solutions sessions will showcase the industrial case studies and their impacts of the industrial solutions using IE / OM tools and techniques (lean, six sigma, FMEA, simulation, design of experiments, optimization, TOC, PLM, CAE, statistical analysis, safety, reliability, etc.) IEOM India Conference will have a dedicated session for the Industry Solutions where distinguished practitioners provide their presentations including their experiences and journey to be successful. Featured speakers will be from various part of the world to address industrial challenges and opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability. Each speaker needs to submit a title of the talk, abstract and a short bio as well as power point presentation prior to the conference. Ekta Rohra Jafri is a design leader with over 20 years of experience & many commercially successful products under her belt. She carries with her the toolset of design to address real world problems and use cases of digital transformation, organizational change and new initiatives. She and her teams have won 3 iXDA awards, presented at the prestigious World Design Organization and have designed award winning business platforms. Ekta has skillfully handled multiple industries and verticals from healthcare to finance with many others in between. She has been a proponent of data driven design for many years now and speaks and teaches on the intersection of design and technology. Speculating about the future through her writing in Sienna Tales, her story blog on how 2030 will pan out for humanity, she tries to bring in a plurality of different futures together into an era of abundance and social reform. Sustainability and the role of policy in our futures is what excites her about tomorrow. In studying various futures, be it in medicine, finance, construction, or lifestyle, she has developed a comprehensive point of view around the technologies that drive us today. She’s here to present her research and give us a view to the advantages and pitfalls that different technologies being used in the 4th Industrial Revolution bring to the table.

He is a well-known host, Tech Commentator, and columnist for India’s top news journals, including Economic Times, Financial Express, and Business Standard, and frequently appears on leading news channels and TV shows.
Kanishk advises leading global tech companies, governments, defense and security companies, and enterprises on Cyber Defense, Advanced Cyber Threats, Online Harms, Tackling Misinformation, and Implementation of Security Standards to secure emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, Robotics, and Cloud. He has advised the Indian government on Cyber Security Strategy and Internet of Things (IOT) Standards and works closely with Tech Policy Leaders and Think Tanks in India and the United Kingdom.
In addition to advising Private Family-run Businesses, Entrepreneurs, and Enterprises on Cyber Security, Privacy, Digital Transformation, and the implementation of emerging technologies, Kanishk is also a British Chevening Commonwealth Fellow who underwent Leadership Training at the United Kingdom’s prestigious Royal Military College of Science (Shrivenham Defence Academy).
With over 15 years of experience, Kanishk has held leadership roles with Deloitte, Ernst & Young (EY), and Synopsis Inc, leading roles as Managing Director Consulting and Strategy Advisor to CXOs/Business leaders in emerging markets and held Profit & Loss responsibility. He is a TEDx Speaker and visiting faculty at leading Indian Business Schools (IIMs, MDI, FSM) and a speaker at the Chamber of Commerce (ASSOCHAM, CII, FICCI).
For his work in innovation, leadership, and Cyber Security, Kanishk was awarded the ‘Chevening Fellowship by U.K FCDO.
Furthermore, Kanishk has been the change agent driving India Future Foundation for the last four years, impacting millions of families in India, especially vulnerable groups, and working towards education and empowerment of children and youth in rural areas through its Digital Literacy, Financial Inclusion, Online Safety, Cyber Awareness Sustainable, and scalable programs. India Future Foundation works in partnership with the United Nations, Indian Central Government, State Government (Maharashtra, Kerala, Assam), Police, Industry, Civil Societies, and Self Help Groups in implementations.

With over 35 years of experience in academics and industry, has made immense contributions to academics, research, and training; and in institution-building. Her academic credentials include the design and development of course curriculum, interaction with regulatory bodies, and academic administration besides taking up teaching assignments in the field of marketing, marketing research, sales, and distribution business communication and personality development activities.
In her current assignment as Professor, she has been associated with institution-building activities, conducting intensive orientation programs and mentoring and counseling students. She has guided over 700 students for summer internships and project work. She has served as HOD for over 18 years.
She has over 50 publications in national and international refereed journals and national and international conference proceedings which include IIM-Kozhikode, IISc-Bangalore, GLOGIFT-Austria, AIMS-Dubai, and Asia-Pacific Business Conference-Malaysia. She has chaired and co-chaired many sessions in the field of management. She has conducted communication workshops and training programs for government bodies regularly for their skill enhancement.

Professor Rajeev Johari, a highly accomplished academician, has had an illustrious career spanning over 18 years in the field of economics. With a Doctorate in Economics and an MBA in International Business and Operations Management, he has established himself as an expert in the field of economics and management.
He has been associated with several prestigious institutions, including Delhi University colleges and Jamia Millia Islamia. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students and has guided several research projects. He has also served as an examiner, observer, evaluator, and paper setter, demonstrating his expertise in the field of academics.
Apart from teaching, he has also been actively involved in administration, having organized several seminars and workshops. He has also liaised with government departments and has been instrumental in the formulation of various projects.
He is a prolific writer and has published 25 research articles in refereed journals. He has also contributed to the field of academics by writing study modules for prestigious universities.

Dr. Ashok K Mittal retired as Professor from Industrial and Management Engineering Department at the Indian Institute of technology Kanpur in June 2013 where he served as faculty member for 38 years in the Department of Industrial Management and Engineering. During this period he also served as Head of the Industrial and Management Engineering Department, Dean of Planning and Resource Generation, Dean of Research and Development and head of Visionary Leadership for Manufacturing program and MHRD Chair Professor in Intellectual property rights. he also served as Visiting Faculty at Kellogg School of Management North western University for one year, He also assisted Mazardan University Iran in setting up their Ph.D. and MBA program, and Defense college Ethiopia in starting MTech program. After retirement he was associated with several Institutes including Indian School of Business where he was Director of MPMO Program and visiting faculty (part time) with IIIT Delhi. He was also founding Director and chairman of IIITD Incubation and Innovation Centre a section8 company, where he continues as Advisor.
He has been President of Operational Research Society of India for the years 2007-2008. He has been President of Quality Circle Forum of India, a NGO providing training for grassroot workers in Quality concepts
He graduated as Mechanical Engineer from IIT Kharagpur in 1969 from where he also completed MTech in Industrial engineering and O.R.in 1972. He did PhD from Case Western reserve University Cleveland USA in Operations Research in 1975. His area of interest includes Operations research, Operations Management, Intellectual Property Rights and Entrepreneurship.
