IEOM Society International is organizing the 7th Latin American Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management in Panama during August 4-6, 2026. The host is Universidad Latina de Panama. Co-hosts are Quality Leadership University, The University Technological of Panama, and Santa María La Antigua Catholic University.  Venue is the InterContinental Miramar Hotel Panama.

The conference will provide an opportunity for academics, researchers, and practitioners to exchange ideas and explore recent developments in the field of Industrial Engineering and Operations Management. The conference is also expected to foster networking, collaboration, and joint effort among the conference participants to advance the theory and practice as well as to identify major trends in Industrial Engineering and Operations Management.

The IEOM Society International, a nonprofit professional organization registered in Michigan, USA, is a premier global platform dedicated to the advancement of industrial engineering and operations management discipline for the betterment of humanity. IEOM is a global platform for academics, researchers, scientists, and practitioners to exchange ideas. Double Peer Review

All full papers are subjected to double peer review. Authors can submit full paper(s) or abstract(s) only. Authors MUST use the conference template to prepare papers or abstracts. IEOM Society encourages to submit full paper(s).  Accepted papers will be published in the Proceedings and indexed.

Presentation Requirements

Any submission implies that an author will attend the 7th Latin American IEOM 2026 Panama Conference and present the paper or abstract. It will be open for questions and answers. Each technical paper presentation is for 15 minutes (12 min for presentation and 3 min for Q&A).

Limit 3 papers per registration with a maximum of two additional papers (Each additional paper – $150)

  • For three papers with professional member rate will be $500 + $150 + $150 = $800 (one paper with your registration and fees for two additional papers).
  • For two papers with student member rate will be $300 + $150 = $450. (one paper with your registration and one additional paper fee).

Registration Policy for the IEOM Conference:

  1. Individual Registration: Each attendee must register and pay the registration fee individually.
  2. Multiple Authors for One Paper: If a paper has multiple authors (e.g., three authors) and all wish to attend, each author must register separately.
  3. Single Admission per Registration: Each registration allows only one person to attend.
  4. Accompanying Persons: Any accompanying persons must also register and pay the registration fee to attend.
  5. Co-Authors: All co-authors who plan to attend must register individually.
  6. Student and Professor Registration:
    • If a paper has both student and professor authors, only one person may attend per registration.
    • Professors cannot attend using a student registration; they must register with the professional category.
    • If both or more authors (e.g., student and professor) are attending, each must complete separate registrations and pay according to their respective student or professional category.
