Jayson M. Barlan is currently the Executive Director for Non-Academic Operations at Lyceum of the Philippines University in Intramuros, Manila. Jayson has been an active Senior Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Consultant and Assessor since 2015 and has occupied various positions in the South Manila Educational Consortium – Student Affairs Committee. His expertise is in Quality Management Systems, Business Performance, and Operations Management. He is a candidate for a Doctor of Philosophy in Management in Education. In addition, he has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication.

Dr. Ayham Jaaron

Dr Ayham Jaaron is an experienced Senior Lecturer in Business and Management at De Montfort University, Leicester. Before this, he was an Associate Professor in Sustainable Management at the Industrial Engineering Department of An-Najah National University (ANU) in Palestine 2010-2019. Ayham is also recognized for his expertise and contributions to the quality of education in Palestine. He led the largest ABET Accreditation project in the region for seven engineering programs simultaneously at ANU, that resulted in a successful ABET Accreditation process. He is also accredited academic program evaluator by Palestinian Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission (AQAC) for new program applications made by Palestinian Universities. Ayham’s multidisciplinary high-quality research has introduced him as a leading sustainability researcher with an established and growing national and international profile in his research areas. His research activities have recently focused on sustainable service operations management using systems thinking approach, green logistics and supply chains management, sustainable manufacturing and Industry 4.0, quality management, and green human resources management in the manufacturing and service sectors.

Dr. Sundaravalli Narayanaswami

Sundaravalli Narayanaswami is on the faculty, Public Systems group, IIM Ahmedabad. She earned her PhD in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from IIT Bombay, India after a Masters in Computer Science. Her research and teaching interests involve applications of ICT and OR tools in real-life problems of large impact. Sundaravalli has taught at various Institutions in India and abroad. She publishes and reviews regularly for scholarly editorials and presents her research findings among peers, both in India and abroad. She is a life member of several professional associations and was a Fellow of the British Computer Society (2009-2013). She serves on the Editorial board of the Annals of Management Science.

Water for Everyone – Tradeoff between Affordability and Business
Hendro Sasongko is from Indonesia, one of the countries in ASEAN with the fourth largest population in the world. He completed his diploma program and obtained an accountant degree from the State College of Accountancy in 1990 and continued to obtain a master of management from the Business School of IPB University in 2001 and a doctorate in finance at the same school in 2012.
He has 28 years of teaching experience, and currently he is the dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Pakuan University, the largest private university in the city of Bogor, Indonesia, and also as a lecturer in the postgraduate program at Business School of IPB University.
Apart from being an academic, he also serves as a commissioner of an affiliated company of a state-owned enterprise, an investment advisory team for the Regent of Bogor Regency, deputy chairman of the Bogor City Wage Council, as well as a financial consultant in several government institutions and companies. He is also a member of the Indonesian Economist Association and a member of the Indonesian Institute of Accountants.
The area of his research include financing, capital structure, financial analysis model, tariff design on infrastructure, management strategic, and is currently focusing on research in the context of regional economic development, including the development of MSMEs, Villages and Village Owned Enterprise.
