IEOM Society International is organizing the 6th South American International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management in Sorocaba, Sao Paulo, Brazil during May 13-15, 2025. Host is FACENS University. It will be held at the Facens’s campus.
The conference will provide an opportunity for academics, researchers, and practitioners to exchange ideas and explore recent developments in the field of Industrial Engineering and Operations Management. The conference is also expected to foster networking, collaboration, and joint effort among the conference participants to advance the theory and practice as well as to identify major trends in Industrial Engineering and Operations Management.
The IEOM Society International, a nonprofit professional organization registered in Michigan, USA, is a premier global platform dedicated to the advancement of industrial engineering and operations management discipline for the betterment of humanity. IEOM is a global platform for academics, researchers, scientists, and practitioners to exchange ideas. Most importantly, it provides insights into the latest technologies, tools and advancements in the fields of Industrial Engineering and Operations Management. Review
Authors can submit full paper(s) or abstract(s) only. Authors MUST use the conference template to prepare papers or abstracts. IEOM Society encourages to submit full paper(s). All full papers will be subjected to double peer review. Accepted papers will be published in the Proceedings and indexed. Any submission implies that an author will deliver an oral presentation at the conference and open for questions.

IEOM Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
Each paper must present a significant research contribution, encompassing:
- Motivation of the Research: Clearly state the relevance of the research and its importance within the field.
- Problem Statements and Objectives: Identify the specific problem(s) addressed and outline clear, measurable objectives.
- Literature Review: Provide a comprehensive review of relevant research to establish the context and background.
- Data: Describe the data sources, collection methods, and any preprocessing steps undertaken.
- Methods: Detail the methodologies used, including the rationale behind their selection.
- Results: Include both numerical and graphical results, effectively presenting key findings.
- Statistical Analysis and Hypothesis Tests: Perform appropriate statistical tests to validate findings, presenting results with proper interpretation.
- Research Validation: Demonstrate that each objective has been met through quantitative or qualitative analysis, confirming the reliability of the results.
- Technical Writing Quality: Ensure the paper is well-written, free from spelling and grammatical errors, and follows a clear, logical structure.
Each paper and its abstract must strictly adhere to the IEOM Template for consistent formatting, including fonts, headings, and layout.

- Each paper will have its unique DOI (Digital Object Identified) from CrossRef.

- Conference Proceedings will be published with an ISBN and an ISSN (2169-8767) in a soft form – OPEN ACCESS.
- All accepted papers will be published with an ISBN Number.
- All full papers submitted for conference proceedings will be evaluated using a double-blind review process and published electronically in proceedings with a DOI number.

**Students are required to email a student verification letter from the department head to info@ieomsociety.org.
***There will be no refund for registration withdrawal/cancellation by authors after March 1, 2024. A processing fee of $50 will be charged for withdraw/cancellation before due date.
Each registration can publish one paper or abstract. For additional paper(s), each additional paper registration rate is $150.
Limit 3 papers per registration with maximum of two additional papers (Each additional paper – $150)
- For three papers with professional non-member rate will be $600 + $150 + $150 = $900 (one paper with your registration and fees for two additional papers).
- For two papers with student non-member rate will be $300 + $150 = $450. (one paper with your registration and one additional paper fee).
Registration Policy for the IEOM Conference:
- Individual Registration: Each attendee must register and pay the registration fee individually.
- Multiple Authors for One Paper: If a paper has multiple authors (e.g., three authors) and all wish to attend, each author must register separately.
- Single Admission per Registration: Each registration allows only one person to attend.
- Accompanying Persons: Any accompanying persons must also register and pay the registration fee to attend.
- Co-Authors: All co-authors who plan to attend must register individually.
- Student and Professor Registration:
- If a paper has both student and professor authors, only one person may attend per registration.
- Professors cannot attend using a student registration; they must register with the professional category.
- If both or more authors (e.g., student and professor) are attending, each must complete separate registrations and pay according to their respective student or professional category.
