The IEOM Professional / Student Chapter can help professionals/students in the development or enhancement of their skills, including: leadership, communications, organization, planning, teamwork, time management, budgeting, finance, and other professional skills. Those can help to prepare for their career and to be successful in the long term. Certificates will be issued for the chapter charter, officers, members, and faculty advisors.

If any student group from an educational institution is interested in forming an IEOM Student Chapter, please submit the IEOM Student Chapter Establishment Form to info@ieomsociety.org.

IEOM Student Chapter Membership Policy

In order to encourage the establishment and growth of IEOM Student Chapters worldwide, the first-year Student Chapter registration and membership fees are waived.
Beginning in the second year, each student member will pay an annual membership fee of US$10, which is 50% lower than the regular IEOM student membership fee. Students can renew their membership using the membership page – https://members.ieomsociety.org/.
The Faculty Advisor membership fee is waived for officially recognized IEOM Student Chapters, allowing faculty advisors to support their chapters without an annual membership charge. This policy helps reduce costs while promoting active student engagement and professional development through the IEOM Society.

Activity Report Form (Semester / Quarter / Yearly) – Submit an activity report each semester, quarter, or year summarizing your chapter’s events, initiatives, and accomplishments. Include photos, attendance numbers, and key outcomes for each activity.

IEOM Professional Chapters

If anyone is interested in establishing an IEOM professional chapter in a country, region, or city, please submit the chapter establishment form [.docx format, .doc format, PDF format] to info@ieomsociety.org. The professional chapter annual fee is $200.

IEOM Country Chapter Requirements

A minimum of five members
A minimum of three officers (president, vice president and secretary)
A minimum of two activities per year
Officer rotations – a minimum of 50% officers/directors should be elected every year
President and officer terms are limited to two years
