There is a possibility to publish quality papers in two prestigious journals, including International Journal of Production Research (IJPR) and Journal of Engineering Design (JED). Both journals are Scopus-indexed and in Q1. We will select high-quality full papers, which fall within the editorial scope of either IJPR or JED, and send them together with the contact information of all co-authors to the Editor-in-Chief (EiC) of IJPR or JED. Both EiCs have accepted to consider these papers with a special accelerated and simplified procedure. They will invite the authors to submit extended and improved versions of their papers to their journals by following the special procedure. As a final remark, we will publish the abstract, instead of full paper, in the conference proceedings for a quality paper sent to either IJPR or JED.

• Overall content: 1-5 points
• Data analysis and results: 1-5 points

• Knowledge of the topic/confidence: 1-5 points

Presentation Requirements

Any submission implies that the author(s) will deliver an oral presentation of the paper or abstract. Each paper must be presented and opened for questions and answers.

Each paper must present a significant research contribution, encompassing:

1. Motivation of the Research: Clearly state the relevance of the research and its importance within the field.
2. Problem Statements and Objectives: Identify the specific problem(s) addressed and outline clear, measurable objectives.
3. Literature Review: Provide a comprehensive review of relevant research to establish the context and background.
4. Data: Describe the data sources, collection methods, and any preprocessing steps undertaken.
5. Methods: Detail the methodologies used, including the rationale behind their selection.
6. Results: Include both numerical and graphical results, effectively presenting key findings.
7. Statistical Analysis and Hypothesis Tests: Perform appropriate statistical tests to validate findings, presenting results with proper interpretation.
8. Research Validation: Demonstrate that each objective has been met through quantitative or qualitative analysis, confirming the reliability of the results.
9. Technical Writing Quality: Ensure the paper is well-written, free from spelling and grammatical errors, and follows a clear, logical structure.

Each paper and its abstract must strictly adhere to the IEOM Template for consistent formatting, including fonts, headings, and layout.

Limit 3 papers per registration with a maximum of two additional papers (Each additional paper – $150)

• For three papers with the professional member rate is $580 + $150 + $150 = $880 (one paper with your registration and fees for two additional papers).
• For two papers, the student non-member rate is $400 + $150 = $550. (one paper with your registration and one additional paper fee).

***There will be no refund for registration withdrawal/cancellation by authors after May 1, 2025. A processing fee will be charged for withdrawal/cancellation before the due date.

Registration Policy for the IEOM Conference:

1. Individual Registration: Each attendee must register and pay the registration fee individually.
2. Multiple Authors for One Paper: If a paper has multiple authors (e.g., three authors) and all wish to attend, each author must register separately.
3. Single Admission per Registration: Each registration allows only one person to attend.
4. Accompanying Persons: Any accompanying persons must also register and pay the registration fee to attend.
5. Co-Authors: All co-authors who plan to attend must register individually.
6. Student and Professor Registration:
   • If a paper has both student and professor authors, only one person may attend per registration.
   • Professors cannot attend using a student registration; they must register with the professional category.
   • If both or more authors (e.g., student and professor) are attending, each must complete separate registrations and pay according to their respective student or professional category.
